Hurry up and do something blizz

They don’t. They’re PvE trolling all the PvP threads because we “get what we deserve”

Who said anything about charity? If you had bothered reading past that point, you’ll see that I was talking about multiple groups working together to get to their instances, not one group safeguarding another for funsies.

Or, you know, there’s always mercenaries. Pay some people to escort you into the mountain for the raid, if you want. From all accounts, Dire Maul isn’t nearly as camped as the mountain is, so you can still gear up and farm gold that way.

There are solutions out there. They take a bit more organization, sure. but that is what happens when you’re guerrillas.

I’ll also mention that on my PvE server there are always people willing to group up and escort someone on a class quest or something, even if they aren’t in the same guild. Maybe it comes down to the fact that more spergs go to PvP servers?

Which is only an ‘issue’ on PvP servers.

Blizzard never said there would be faction balance. Never, in their entire history of the game have they ever gone about trying to force faction balance. Sure, they’ve offered transfers for dominant factions to other servers, but they never did anything to forcibly regulate balance.

Why? Because that is up to the players. Blizzard gave us the world, and let us run wild. They didn’t say, “Well, Timmy chose Horde, so since you’re next in line, you’re going to have to go Alliance. Have to keep things fair.” No. It has always been unfair. One side dominates, the other has to get creative and get organized to survive. That is the essence of PvP servers.

Deserve? No. I don’t know you well enough to say that. Getting what you signed up for? Definitely, and if you didn’t know it was going to be like this, then you’re pretty naive.

Seriously, though, I have nothing but respect for the people that recognized that they made a mistake, that they were not prepared for the crapstorm of gankfest servers, admitted their mistake, and then rerolled to fix it. That kind of acceptance of personal responsibility and taking action to fix one’s mistakes is uncommon today, and if any of them are Horde on Mankrik, I might send a couple bags their way, to help them get started. No, the ones I reserve my scorn for are the ones that are simply sitting around whining because the PvP on a PvP server is getting in the way of the PvE stuff they want to do, and they’re unwilling to take steps to fix the situation, so they’re crying to Blizzard to fix it for them, like a frat boy wanting his rich daddy to make the allegations from that girl at the last toga party go away.

Horde player right here. Typical Horde do not understand how bad the situation is. Only on one or a few servers do Horde experience what Alliance do.

No one wants to reroll on another server when it takes 8weeks+ for someone with a full time job and responsibilities to hit 60.

re roll or wait for a server transfer it WAS your choice to roll on a pvp server and now you are whining because you dont have the numbers to do what the horde is doing,

A lot of people have done just that. Every day there’s former PvP players joining PvE servers. I see them every day in chat.

I talked to one the other day who told me he was having a blast and meeting all kinds of great people.

It’s not like this game is going anywhere. If you’re unhappy on you PvP server there is something you can do. Other than complain, that is.

Pretty sure we’re not leaving behind guild resources, bindings, and all our character progression, notably when loot comes so slow out of raids as is.

Reroll would have been a good idea a few months ago. Not now.

And all that stuff is doing you soooo much good right now, isn’t it?

Quit whining, and take the steps available to fix your problem. It isn’t like you have to delete your character or anything. It’ll still be there when you get back, if you ever decide to return to gankfest servers.

Piss off .

Sorry, can’t handle it when people call you out?

You’re just trolling topics to be a jackass. Piss off.

Nope, I’m offering people actual solutions to their problems that they can use right now, if they stopped whining and actually put some work in. But I’m starting to think that some of y’all actually like the pain.

You’ve offered no such thing. You looked at someone crying, said “cheer up!”, then had the nerve to get affronted when they actually told you why they’re sad.

You’re a troll. Go away.

If you quit as you say you might, you’re leaving everything behind aren’t you? I don’t get people who say they don’t want to leave everything behind, and then quit and leave everything behind because they didn’t want to leave everything behind.

Rerolling is fine. If you end up being happy with your new server, then mission accomplished. You can also check back on your PvP server to see if anything is different.

Because I’m not interested in repeating 1-60, no gold, no resources, no professions, on a Druid while trying to get another good deal on a Warden Staff and try to farm another Pristine Hide of the Beast. I’m not interested in re-acquiring Molten Core drops that I’ve only seen once.

I built up this character. Pissing that away because the server is unplayable isn’t worth the hassle. I just won’t play. And no one should be suggesting abandoning a character, guild, social structure because the game has become unplayable as a solution. It wasn’t a solution when Blizzard was considering opening up more servers and people railed against the idea, it isn’t now.

That just tells me the journey wasn’t fun for you. That’s okay. Classic isn’t for everyone.

i just want guards on boats like the horde has on zepplins

This right here is why I can’t stand these forums. I played in Vanilla, all the way through to the end of WoD. I am playing a pixel for pixel copy of my original character.

I shouldn’t have to re-journey another time after I’ve already built this character up.

This is the same crap people told others when servers were so overcrowded that no one could login.

“Just reroll.”
“What did you expect.”
“Classic isn’t for you I guess.”
“Make new friends.”

These aren’t solutions. They’re vapid platitudes.

Oh yeah, great idea, let me just throw away all the effort I did into leveling my character, finding a guild that suits my schedule, and getting most of the BiS items to just throw it all away and do it all over again. Is that really the best idea you can think of? If you think that’s really a solution why don’t you delete your character, level a Paladin on a PVP server to 60 and see how you like it. I dare you.

Wait what?! They have guards on Zeppelins?

This isn’t classic wow. This is 5 Vanilla wow servers crammed into one. The criticism is completely valid while yours is not.

You must be trolling. BRD is not some out of the way secret dungeon with many entrances. There’s two ways into the mountain and one way into the dungeon. Strike fast and leave before the opposition can react? What are you talking about? The opposition is always there. Clearly you have no idea what you are talking about. There are 30 - 60 members of the opposition from the MC NPC to the entrance to BRD and so many more before it.

There is a big difference between leaving all of your work behind or doing the work all over again. This from someone one a PVE server. Why don’t you level up a paladin to 60 on a PVP server if “rerolling is fine”. I mean it’s not a big deal to you, so why don’t you delete your character and level another one up.
