Hurry up and do something blizz

Actaully they did since I can’t attack horde players and most guilds have the highest raid content on farm.

I really do sympathize with people on PVP servers. My question is where are all the #nochangers on this one? Blizz drastically increased the size of servers, making faction imbalances WAY more detrimental than they would have been back in Vanilla. People rolling on a PVP realm this time around expecting a similar experience to Vanilla really got shafted with the increased server sizes.

So this morning before work i try and do a bit of mining in burning steppes, 6AM server time is one of the better times to do this. Deaths are expected but you can usually manage to tap a few nodes between getting ganked.

Anyway on about death number 5 I decide to not res and go make a coffee and have a shower. I keep an eye on the screen as I’m going about my business, the 10 or so horde that got me have camped my body the whole time. Thats 10 people who have NOTHING better to do and no better options than to spend half an hour camping a single person. I logged off and went to work, legend says they are still camping me.
Three of these people had the party leader crown, which means no they arent some super organised raid group. It means its just a bunch of people who can simply invite a friend or two to a party and easily participate in the carnage.

How is this fun for either side?

“TrAdE oF KiLl” xD

It’s okay, like most alliance players I understand ya’ll don’t read very often at all. :joy:

I assume they did that to loads of people going by pvp post TBH. :hugs:

It is unreasonable to expect people to organize raids of 10-40 people so that they can safely get their 5-man to a dungeon. Asmongold might have done it to make a point, but there are 24 hours in a day and no one is going to just shuttle people back and forth from TP to BRM for no gain. Plus the moment the opposite faction realizes there is a raid group doing stuff like this, they end up swarming them.

There was an enemy 15-man group in Searing Gorge yesterday for about 20 minutes, but our faction had far more than that combined in Searing Gorge + BRM, so as soon as the randoms on our faction sort of coalesced near BRM, we were able to crush their 15-man group. We then corpse-camped them and that was basically the end of it.

Why is it unreasonable? The additional danger of world PvP is why the PvP servers exist, yes? So it is not unreasonable to expect people to take additional measures to get to PvE content. 10-40 people? You get two BRD parties, a couple LBRS parties, and a UBRS party. You charge in to the mountain, split, and get in the instance as fast as possible.

That 15-man that you’re talking about? The mistake they made is that they stuck around. Guerrillas can’t just sit in one place and take on the regular army! Gotta think like VC, not US Army.

I’m confused as to why battlegrounds wouldn’t fix this since it’s the easiest way to get fast honor especially when dudes are waiting around for 15 minutes waiting to kill one toon.

It will help, but how much it will help will depend on queue times. If the queues are long, people will go back to the farm they were already doing. And not everyone wants to do BGs. There will always be a portion of the PvP crowd that are gankers and griefers, that enjoy the tears of the opposition and making them quit the game. Sure, those people show up everywhere, but PvP servers are their playgrounds, that explicitly facilitate their ‘fun’.

Obviously it’s unreasonable because the only people that benefit are the ones that get into the dungeon. Players don’t exist to charitably bodyguard other players.

Seriously, you sound like you don’t even play on a PvP server.

NO , NO NO NO…you are saying something that burdens me to do something i HATE doing, and that’s defending ActivisionBlizzard…

but here, you’re taking agency away from a massive crowd of players that CHOSE to roll on pvp servers. If you wanna place ANY blame on ANY one…it’s each and every one of those short sighted players that did this. Blizzard isn’t at fault here for the lack of foresight in the player bases decision making. That is absolutely absurd.

Disgusting that i had to be compelled to stick up for these corporate goons…:face_vomiting:

Personal accountability is a thing of the past it seems.

Join another guild that aren’t quitters.

Hopefully they just don’t want it.

This used to be the case back in Vanilla.
Supposedly this changed reasonably recently however and is actually one of the major reasons why I came back to play classic. Servers are hosted in Sydney and I get anywhere between 6-25ms, where it would be 180-300ms if I were on any American servers.

If it makes the OP feel any better, 99.9% of the player base won’t make HWL/GM by ganking lowbies or randoms trying to do something constructive in the world of azeroth. Think of it as them wasting their lives pursuing in game BWL equivalent epics that they will never obtain before BGs become available and add them to your Kill on Sight on your Spy add on so you can get your just revenge later. That’s what I did from my 50-60 experience and now I have a great camping list to work with.

Dude, some day. I will camp low lvls and if somehow they will managed to contact with me… I will give them link to your post.

Nice lvl 60 retail character…

This. Isn’t. About. PvP. Servers.

It’s about faction balance.

What mistakes? I don’t see that Blizzard made any mistakes.

What defines “fix”? What do you mean? What would satisfy you? Is there anything Blizzard can do, that would satisfy you?

I don’t think you even know. You want magic. You want someone to wave a wand and create something you like. Blizzard has no magic.

Blizzard recreated the Vanilla rules and the Vanilla timeline, including no Honor at first, then Honor long before battlegrounds. It can’t be a “mistake” since the goal was to recreate Vanilla and they did.
