Didn’t they nerf the scorpion? Tested vs my cat that I usually run today and saw it doing a little less than cat.

the poison doesn’t get buffed by kill command, it still does good dmg though. but even good dmg is too much for non-hunters so our pets will probably be gutted pretty soon

It is only really the scorpid and this is sod forums talking about sod PVP. And considering the only real PVP going on is one battleground, usually you end up facing groups with several Hunters which means you can’t just CC the pet because there’s more than one which means there’s more players and more targets than you have available crowd control. Except a hunter can kill you from twice the range of any caster just by sending their pet after you while they stay far back and safe. When hunter pets are almost capable of soloing a geared player on their own, there is a problem.

What are ya’ll going to do once lightening breath + KC starts bursting you guys down with 200+ crits AT RANGE from the breath?..
It just seems like you guys will never stop complaining about pets.

If you’re the only hunter scorpion is better.
Scorp pet can only stack 1 dot per enemy.
So multiple scorpions lose value.
Hunter’s can’t have anything you will see more hunter’s tell you this since it’s the truth…our other runes got nerfed/gutted it’s time for the pets now.

Don’t get me wrong I’m leveling a Hunter right now to enjoy the broken Raid Boss power.
Pet design has never been good in the history of WoW. They are designed in a way where if they have even the slightest power they start to ruin gameplay. Pets really shouldn’t be doing damage. They should be providing utility/buffs for the Hunter or Party. I think Pet design could be a lot deeper then just having Raid Boss Dmg Bots.
By fix you mean spay a nueter so they are useless?
Because thats what it seems you are trying to do.
