I’m no master at hunters, but my impression is that they’re wasting their time if they’re not equipping +hit/crit stuff on weapons.
Hunters should be prioritizing duel wield weapons.
This is why (yes sometimes a two hander will be an upgrade). With duel wielding weapons you get the agility enchants and all that good stuff. This puts the stats on par with a twohander in most cases. But then you surpass those stats when you use Mana oil on your weapons gaining more Mana regen. Allowing more upranking of spells per Mana costs.
Duel wielding gives hunters more overall stat value because of Mana oil.
you’d rather give a fury warrior a weapon that sits in his bag and does nothing for your guild or raid? do you give bows and guns to mages over warriors and rogues too?

I’d consider it if mages could actually equip them and were going to use them. Meme gun mage sounds legit.
Could just roll on the server Ashkandi and they can say I have hunter Ashkandi. But really why not if others have what they need first. Or they have tons dkp whatever system you use and show up regularly
Sure, as long as the warriors/rogues can get Ashjre’thul for a pvp stat-stick.
What my hunter will have easy to get and it’s what I used in actual Vanilla. Plus I like the look of duel axes. Hunter is 23 atm. And I love the look of 2 axes and bow.
There is stupid stuff you can do because of the massive amount of rage generation.
Spamstring is super saiyan mode for dps. Its ridiculous.
Lol, one of the hunters in our guild in Vanilla wanted Ashkandi. We used DKP. I straight up told him 1. I have more DKP, you won’t get Ashkandi. 2. If you even Bid on Ashkandi, you wont get the crossbow either.
I feel that an upgrade is an upgrade, and unless there’s an arrangement made before a group starts a raid or dungeon regarding loot priority, or an agreement when the actual thing drops, anyone is entitled for a chance at an upgrade.

GUN SLINGER!

What class were you then? Hopefully not a warlock lol.
Dot has shown his/her warrior a few times now.
What class were you then
Warrior. As Pollz mentions.
Ashkandi is BIS for Hunter PvP. Its not BIS for anyone else. Rets should be swinging Nightfalls or Sulfuras. 2h Fury uses BRE until AQ.
But TBH if i was a Hunter i’d save myself a headache and just wait for Zin’Rokh, has lower DPS but slower swing speed so both weaps are pretty close for Raptor/Mongoose burst.

you basically said “no, you can’t have your stat stick, because i want the stat stick for something that doesn’t help anyone else, and if you want your stat stick, i will take your weapon”
man, you’re the boss
I need that crossbow for shaz more than he needed less stats than he could have gotten from alternative dual wield weapons.
I also need the crossbow for trash mobs in ony’s lair. It’s my PvE BiS.
It’s honestly a bit funny though, people thinking ashkhandi is pve bis for hunters. It’s totally not. 15 agi 1 hand enchants are coming out the same patch as bwl.
Alls fair in DKP then.
over 2h dps Warriors
Reverse the rolls, should warriors and rogues be allowed to have a bow drop over hunters?
What do you think? The priority list should be blatantly obvious.
