Exactly correct, people seem to forget hunters can hit for 1.5k raptor strike crits with 45% chance to crit.
1 heartseeker has like 10% horde and is basically a pve server. 2 several of our warriors also raid in our alt run with hunters. 3 we are a pve guild and do loot tracking, so if you get a good item that someone else actually wants for a pve improvement, AND not actively ranking, it directly makes you less likely to get another item in the near future. No one not actively ranking will take that as it will lower their likelyhood of getting pvp gear.

Because a Paladin is gonna swing it. Actively. A hunter actively tries to avoid melee.
You can say melee weaving, but I dont support that. Itâs taking a risk you dont need to for a marginal dps gain.
Ultimately, the loot rules are set by the guild and you can choose to accept or reject them. If everyone in the guild is fine with it, feel free. Iâm not here to change anyoneâs mind.

A paladin will swing nightfall, or in our case, is a healer who respecced for pvp.
In raid, yeah. In PVP, no.
I dont view gear in a pve/pvp vacuum.
Coincidentally, Iâm perfectly fine with giving healers spell power gear.
My point was ashkandi goes to active ranking pvpers> hunters> warriors looking to occasionally do a wsg once per week or look cool on IF bridge
BiS weapon for hunters- not even close for warriors- of course warriors want it.
Warriors are the most loot hungry class of Classic, I remember at launch there were dozens of threads where casters were complaining about warriors ninjaing spirit gear, and warriors defending taking it over casters.
2h fury can succeed if you farm PvP gear. It saves hit gear for your tanks.
However if youâre relying solely on PVE gear to support rolling 2h fury you are going to be gimped.

Itâs far from BiS for hunters.
It is decent, easily replaced by many melee weapons.
Huntards arenât smart players, unfortunately hunters are a rare sight.
Iâve had fun teaching many huntards how to slowly become hunters though.
