And you need exactly 0 dps warriors with Ashkandi.
You need exactly 8-10 dps warriors who are happy to help progress through BWL, AQ and Naxx tho.
Ainât a problem given the incredible overabundance that exists with warriors.
If Iâm running a group with dps warrior loot goblins, they can very easily be replaced.
It is true they drop back off a bit in naxx. This is also because everyone doing naxx in vanilla was using consumes and buffing to progress as it wasnât out for long. The biggest issue is pets donât scale and we get no upgrade ranged weapons from xbow of smiting until kelâthuzad.
But a good hunter will be topping meters in AQ still.
Depends on the server maybe. DPS warriors are the most highly demanded class/spec for raiding where I am. If I was unguilded, Iâd get 5 guilds messaging me within 30 minutes of standing around orgrimmar, asking me if I wanted to discuss joining.
If you did it on Kromcrush alliance, youâd be transferring (assuming you quit due to weapon drama)
I forget that horde has like a bazillion people though. Kinda hard to flush all the turds.
Horde melee is op, alliance is more even.
Ashkandi is a pvp weapon, or pve for hunters if you can weave in raptors, in my opinion itâs crap gameplay though so I wouldnât, but it does have its bonuses, ie wolf is closer for howl, hunter is closer for fd traps and hunter is closer for TSA.
Oh and lokâdelar is a piece of crap!
True yeah blessings work for melee and ranged, but wf is melee only.
One of the reasons I went horde, wf is so op.
In a PVE guild, specifically for Ashkandi, when no warriors are actively ranking and with tryhard hunters, yes. Especially because it will be be a single target dps loss vs preraid bis 1 handers for a warrior as slam is garbage. Horde warriors want the untamed blade anyways.
UTB doesnât always drop, and neither does BRE. And when they do, only 1 warrior can pick it up. UTB is insane when it procs, but itâs only expected to be around 1ppm, so itâs relatively unreliable, unlike BRE.
Either way, both good weapons, but the point is, thereâs almost always going to be a warrior where Ash is a huge upgrade for.
I highly doubt youâll ever find a guild that has no tryhard ranking warriors, that has a bunch of tryhard hunters in it. Tryhards are usually all in the same guilds. Youâre giving all these examples of theoretical situations that in reality donât exist.
And if weâre talking about tryhards, there isnât a more tryhard class than warrior. Just look at all the rank 12-13âs on your server right now. Probably 50% of them are warriors.
You must have terrible hunters in your guild, or just have some bone to pick with the class.
I can say the same about warlocks. Your dps in this phase is dog poo, shard warlock gear and give the hunters mats for enchanting their stat sticks. Youâll get more raid dps this way.
All of my guilds warriors who wanted to rank are done. The only people ranking past 10 are a druid whose 12, and a rogue and lock who are 13 atm.
Ok. Heartseeker is a PvP server right? Ask your R10 warriors who should get ashkandi prio right now in guild. Suggest your idea of giving it to a hunter that wants to try melee weaving in raids. Curious what theyâll say, lol.
Hunters arenât smart players.
No, I just enjoy hyperbole. Also, there is an important qualifier here:
Lol from the pally, get off the forums, something needs to be auto hit with a wet noodle.
If weâre in that situation, Ashkandi is very, very likely to be a downgrade or sidegrade to Barbarous Blade. 1% crit probably is more of a dps boost than at extra 26 AP. Its a downgrade to dual wield options.
Itâs simply not BIS for hunter.
26 - 35 ap (depending on gear) = 1%crit for dps.
Right. Itâs close. Hard to tell, depends on other stats. Would have to sim it.
Huntards are easily spotted because you can tell when someone is dumb if they are playing a hunter. Because they look dumb if they arenât played correctly. Some other classes can be played by dumb people and you are unable to tell them apart.
