posting that from a warlock is very rich.

What I don’t like is that every other class either gets to fundamentally play a different way or significantly buffs their non-healing roles. Hunters do the same things we always did, just better. This would have been the perfect time to release emotional support hunters with a healing kit and maybe a bandage gun.

Did not look overturned at all in the 10 man raid. Still being beaten by ret paladin. Hunters kneecapped to forever be the bridesmaid and never the bride…

They should probably teleport pets to bosses that the player is attacking once they reach a point where they can’t get to them.

I would not mind if we saw a rune or new ability that allowed hunter attacks like counter-attack an mongoose to activated via another target blocking/parrying/dodging the hunter’s target. Something like below

  • Watchful eye: The hunter while a hunter’s mark is active on a target they are attacking treat any of the target’s attacks blocked/parried/dodged even if by someone other than the hunter as if they were dodged/parried/blocked by the hunter. This would allow a melee hunter to use counter-attack as well as mongoose strike more reliably.

Let’s be real here.

Chest slot for hunter is Lone Wolf or Aspect of the Lion.

You were gonna be forced to run Lion period because it’s 10% increased stats for your group and 20% increased stats for the hunter.

Have your pet heal. Cats can go lick wounds, for example.

The only way I can see a healer pet is by re-introducing spirit beasts but it’s not going to happen.

new attack for cats datamined, hairball attack …pet coughs up a hairball doing 12-14 dmg and slowing the enemy for 3 seconds

But hunters did get a new role too. DPS. :dracthyr_lulmao:

I like the new roles, but they’re a bit too out of the traditional class for my liking. A mage at level 25 altering the fabric of time…

I think it would be neat if they just allowed Hunter skills to be used on all beasts (so druids). Mend Beast, Bestial Wrath, castable on all beasts so you could play a support Hunter and giga-buff a Druid, maybe even something like “Align with Beast” instead of Tame Beast so the Druid benefits from your talents or something. I’d rather have some more direct class interplay that makes sense than just pulling stuff out of nowhere.

I also think just reusing the Classic talent trees is a complete mistake. Mage doesn’t have any healing talents at all, so they barely have to give up anything to become healers. Where traditional healers/tanks are wasting talent points on improving their role, all the new tanks/healers have everything they need just dumped into a single rune slot.

If you’re not playing Warlock or Mage for at least the first level cap, you’re kind of just losing at character select.

I bet someone felt that in their soul.

Imagine sweating and min maxing a level 25.

They could put the cap at level 2 and the sweatlords would obsess over min/maxing it.

Yeah, I dont mind sweatlords who sweat about their own performance. More power to them. Competition only exists for those who activiely participate in it.

It scales 100% but over the life of the tick, not each individual tick.

If you didn’t know people would do this, its on you. Never underestimate the sweatiness of vanilla wow players lol.

Truth and Blizz knows this.

This post is correct.
In the Season of Discovery, we find out Hunter will be forced to take Lion to raid.
