That is a lot of assumptions. No, rejuv only heals for 45 a tick every 3 seconds. That does not out pace hunter auto shot. Not even close. Also, switching to cat is not easy when heals take tons of mana. IT is easy to run out of mana fast when trying to heal yourself.
They havenât. I have both a 25 hunter and druid and play both about equally. Hunters are at the top for a reason. I find it funny hunters trying to make excuses and they know nothing. They just donât want to be nerfed any further, which is understandable.
I understand that it is likely not possible to balance for level 25 pvp and if memory serves me right, hunters will level off when more levels are available.
It really doesnt.
The burstiest pet is the LB from WS.
You should have at least half the hibernate cast done before it is in range to sleep you.
For you to have been at 10-15% hp you would need to have taken 800+ damage. Which means the hunter has done all of his damage (and pet is now asleep) and wont have anything but auto shot for the next 5+ seconds. And that is arcane shot for 33 danage coming back. Multi shot is about 10 seconds away.
Rejuv will outheal that damage as you close the gap. He can concusive shot you but you just shift that and keep going in on him. If you are outside you can sleep pet, rejuve self, root hunter, and run into his deadzome while he is still rooted, heal to full, root pet (or resleep) and reck hunter.
Edit: rejuv does outheal the damage enough for you to close the gap.
It wont outheal 100% but it buys you time to close the gap before you die. And once you are in the deadzone. The hunter can do nothing.
oh its this again
you are 30 yards away sleeping a hunterâs pet while he shoots you and then you put a rejuv on yourself and run 23 yards into his deadzone and ofcourse he doesnât move at all, he just stands still like a tree and then you root him while hes afk still, then you heal yourself to full, better hope he doesnât own a pvp trinket either
note: this wonât work if the hunter is at his keyboard
Assuming it is a duel. Assumptions.
Assuming I am not targeting someone else that is not the hunter. Assumptions.
AND NO, rejuv will not out heal that damage, there is a global cool down, it ticks for 45 every 3 seconds.
Clearly, you do not know pvp or game mechanics. The hunter has plenty of utility once someone is in the deadzone, depending on runes of course. Yeah, druids are cake to kill when on my hunter.
If only you had some way to root the hunter. To entagle him is some kind of snare so he couldnt move awayâŚ
so now we are hibernating the pet, into a rejuv on ourselves, into a root on the hunter, this is an automatic loss, you will take hundreds and hundreds of damage trying to do this and nothing is to say the hunter will allow you to root him (u get insane pushback+ he outranges it + he can trinket it)
The person who gets the jump on the enemy should have the advantage. You can still sleep the pet and run away from the hunter if he is at max range. Get stealth, then you get the opener.
The hunter cannot outrun you. If he puts cheetah on you take 1 step back to him (as he is running to you as well), moon fire rank 1, he is dazed, and you outrun him and get stealth. Then you get the opener. The hunter range is 35 yards yours is 30. It is easy to close that ha with making him chase you then you step back into him with an instant cast. And this is inoring possible runes ir talents that exstend your range. One of your runes can get 42 yard range with talents.
You act like there is nothing you can do. Yet there is multiple options.
You know there is a cast time on this? Doesnât last long in pvp and if a hunter is auto shotting you, it will take at least 5-7 seconds to cast, if youâre lucky. Donât forget that hunter pet likely just came out of sleep now.
Some people just donât know how to fight against Hunters. Keep playing your Hunter and youâll see how a good player destroys you, then use that experience.
Hunterâs Mark
15 Mana 100 yd range
Instant
Requires Hunter
Requires level 6
Places the Hunterâs Mark on the target, increasing the Ranged Attack Power of all attackers against that target by 20. In addition, the target of this ability can always be seen by the hunter whether it stealths or turns invisible.
wow look guys iâm kiting the hunter and going into stealth, sometimes i wonder if the players on these forums play the game at all
Pushback from an auto attack is .5 seconds. Pet is already asleep. So weapon swing timer for hunters is usually 2.5ish seconds for a good ranged weapon. So there is no way you have a 5 second+ cast.
Even if he saved arcane shot to cause pushback he would not get a second auto attack off to cause even more pushback.
Whoa, itâs almost like a Hunter was made to hunt things!
âHunter shoots me, pet eats me, I die :(â
If only you didnât ignore every single piece of advice to fight Hunters like you use every single piece of whiny crap to tell us why youâre bad at the game, you might actually learn something.
Again, you clearly do not understand game mechanics or pvp. You do know that pushback is not just once per engagment? It is a constant issue and can cause your casts to be twice as long.
They should make a pet that heals friendly targets and dispels. Imagine the chapped behinds that would cause.
âfireball 1 shot meâ
âyeah well mages were created to shoot fire dood i mean what can you do?â
the advice is terrible and doesnât work, coupled with ad hominem, i guess ill check ur logs and see if ur a professional?
Best Perf. Avg
33.0
u have an epic bow and are worse than 67% of the hunters playing this game, thatâs incredible, and u call people bad? maybe u think hunter is bad because you are
A Hunter Healing spec through buffing your auto healing hunter pet would be the biggest curveball in video game history.
I just canât wait for beastial wrath and viper sting the forums are going to be magnificent that day
This isnât going to age well when we have POM pyro mages at 40 who can 1 shot people and heal themselves.
Yes, twice as long. Yet your claim is somehow your cast is being pushed back to over 3 times as long.
Root is 1.5 second cast.
And as for hunters mark, you outrun the hunter. He wont keep chasing you if you keep stepping back in and moonfireing him. Then as hunters mark falls off you can come back and get the jump on him.
This is assuming you dont have the 42 yard range rune/talents if you do you just outrange and kill him.
