Thank you! I plan to probably do a few more that are above 15 just to get my score higher so it’s easier to get invites to dungeons. Pretty pleased with myself though!
You should be extremely pleased. Even though you clearly have the skill, it’s still a lot of work to get that done.
So my group finally went back to Sire after our 1 victory for those that weren’t thee and we got him in 3 attempts….that’s about as close to farm status as we can expect. Lol. We even helped 2 people outside our regular gang get AotC.
Worst part of that fight for me is the damage in phase 3 from the orbs and dots. I even brought Stamina potions because apparently Sire hates hunters. I save all my cool downs and I still died at the 2% mark….and maybe a Ravage tick when I was trapped. I’m gonna pretend that didn’t happen.
I still think KJ was worse.
I’ll need to get in on that to snag my ahead of the curve in the last week of the patch .
Lol, grats! Glad you guys are wrecking him now!
Cutting it a bit close, are ya?
We got our C’Thun kill on a Sunday, 2 days before next patch. That was stressful.
I haven’t really been raiding this tier. Too many conflicting times / schedules. I was merely saying that in jest lol
I raided a lot in Legion. Mostly had heroic stuff on farm and progressed through a few mythic bosses every Tier. Thinking I might try raiding for 9.1.
I have a question. I saw something that said the new gear bonuses and shard things will not benefit BM pet damage. Anyone know if this is true? You know, before I get aggravated.
This isn’t the first time that buffs and such don’t impact pet damage, as I understand it.
Add in fights where pets can’t go places or get stuck and I just don’t understand.
Make a class with a pet that doesn’t benefit from the gear I get and can’t always go the places I go and can’t always hit things that have no trouble hitting me?
Blizzard is just mean.
So, I honestly don’t know, unfortunately. I think I saw Thekk say something about it on the 9.1 forums, and they are fairly knowledgeable. But I’m waiting for things to become more official.
Personally, I think if it’s true it’s likely unintentional. Blizz has a bad track record concerning pets. I would expect to see it fixed anywhere from 2 weeks to literally never lmao.
I guess it’s really good (for my mental health) that I’m not a min maxxer. Lol
Join the dark side! We have… uh. Potatoes.
… Why no cookies you ask? We gave then all away unfortunately. But we here at Lazy’s discount min max service will get you all that you need to optimize that performance!
note, am not actually min maxed or optimized by any means, Lazy’s Min Max Incorporated is not responsible for lack of optimization. Potatoes may arrive anywhere from 5 to 3007 business days.
Mhmm, potatoes.
One of my top five (life-long) favorite foods.
WE GOT ONE BOYS!!!
Welcome to the dark side >:)!
In other more depressing news, I found out maybe an hour ago my dad has a severe liver disease. So. That’s kind of been a mood killer to an otherwise pretty good day.
That’s tough. I’m sorry to hear that. It’s good he has you to worry about him.
PS. Potatoes are awesome.
Thank you for that. We unfortunately don’t always get along, but also you know, don’t want him to have a liver disease! The good news is, right now he feels fine (in fact, was bragging to me earlier about hitting his best golf game ). He needs to see a specialist and kind of see where things go from there.
It’s why the dark side is giving them out. Who doesn’t love potatoes, they go so well in so many different foods!
I was always a fan of the videogame as a storytelling medium, and got into MUDs as an extension of my love for roleplaying games in the 90s before I was introduced to WoW after kind of hating Everquest (just disappointed by its failure to meet my high expectations).
My home MUD (Thresholdrpg .co m) is still running and actively developed, celebrating 25 years this month! Numbers are generally hidden, so when you say “figure out on your own” Threshold takes that to another level. You kind of need to try things on your own, experiment with builds and figure out what works for you, and with no icyveins by which to compare yourself, what you think is best is very subjective!
Being a bit primitive and text based (old school) the game lacks some complexity, but the mechanics in many ways are secondary to exploration, community interaction (its an RP enforced game with a lot of political intrigue) and personal creative expression (which graphical MMOs can’t compete with based on the flexibility of text).
My wife and I have been playing the game for 13 years together (I started playing before I met her) and we still discover new things and new “metas” all the time! I find that kind of magic in games wonderful, and despite loving WoW, and the work of theorycrafters, there is something to be said for having an MMO side chick who is a little more mysterious.
I just blew a giant wad of gold on The Flag of Ownership at the BMAH… about a week ago. I probably bid more than I had to, but I can’t say it wasn’t worth it. I try to reserve it for annoying melee players that won’t get off my back (and that I manage to kill of course). I wonder if I enjoy using it too much?
Always use it.
When we had PVP servers, I was bait and my rogue friend slaughtered everyone, because who doesn’t want to kill a Hunter? Lol.
He placed that flag in every corpse.
Enjoy yourself
Just wanted to share that last night I finally tamed the last two Spirit Beasts to complete the whole set, Ban’thalos & Magria. Both up at the same time and actually the first time I’ve ever seen Magria in the wild. Twas a great feeling.
Man, I love my MM artifact mogs, but I seriously do not like the way the quiver clips into the shoulder. I thought this one-shoulder option for transmog would solve the issues because hey, no more clipping, right?
Except that the arm that holds the bow should be unarmored while the off hand is protected. Crap.
