lol if you lose to a hunter as a spriest you should uninstall. Let alone you have shadow reach. Hawkeye is 35+ 6 (41) yards - shadow reach is 36. Stop being delusional
Sure itâs simple but it makes no sense to have the same output damage while sitting comfy and safe at ranged as a Melee risking it by going into melee range.
Melee dps SHOULD be higher by virtue of being melee.
Sure its a simple rotation but theres plenty of hunters that still cant manage uptime of flankingstrike.
(trust me i raid with them)
I mean ask any melee class, they will share the same sentiment with you about melee dps having higher dps by virtue of being in melee range.

Mele wonât be played at all when you donât have a spot in raid due to offering less dps then war/rogue, having no interrupt, and bringing no party buffs.
Ranged doesnât have an advantage when so many bosses have mechanics that only target ranged, when everything you do is instant and doesnât require you to stand still, allowing you to literally run circle around the bosses flanks with no repercusions whatsoever. Melee is easier than ranged on the vast majority of bosses.
Go and tell me that Mekgineer Thermaplugg was hard for melees, literally just sit on boss the entire fight doing braindead rotations while the Ranged had to handle every single mechanics of the boss.
This mythical âranged advantageâ doesnât apply here.
Ranged hunter bring TSA and trap launcher/combat traps, while mele hunter brings nothing but itâs damage. ânot even a mele interuptâ
If mele hunter does not put up top end numbers, it will have 0 use.
Also, I do not know a single mele hunter who would not love to have a bit more meat on the mele rotation bone. We didnât choose the rotation be to raptor strike all night.
