Huge nerf to solo/outdoor gear progression in DF Season 1

probably. They are good at only responding to specific points in the post.

Maybe some raiders need to better argue for raiding to be more insular, like one will not need to do world content in order to have the ability to raid because raiding provides all that they would need for such.

They don’t need to, to complete the content. They are doing it for social reasons, or lack of self control. That isn’t a game issue.

Maybe solo-players in an MMORPG need to accept that their progression path ends sooner than players who actually complete challenging content.

Attunements, rep grinds, pre-raid farming, currency farming, ect.

Is leveling not solo content now? In SL, was farming souls from the maw not solo content? Was the N’zoth legendary cloak questline in BFA not solo content? In BFA, did you not have a minimum requirement to fully use the armor you got from raids that was higher in mythic than in any other difficulty? In Legion, did you not have to grind AP to fully unlock your class? in SL S1, did you not have to have to complete the campaign to use your 3rd soulbind?

You have to level. That’s your big comeback. Lol. Dude it’s way past your whittle bedtime.

Might as well lock raiders at a specific ilvl so they can always do the content at the same speed with that kind of logic. They can complete the content, why do they need more gear?

So we need to coddle raiders and not make them do content they don’t want to do, while everyone else needs to be forced into content they don’t want to do otherwise the raiders are going to be sad.

Poor poor babies.

How about the rest of this?

Same drivel different words. Fully addressed by the laughter.

No examples and still your opinion

What the heck do you think happens at the Mythic raid or >M+15 level? Gear stops progressing for us too, but we keep playing where there is no more gear left to earn. What a bad take.

We already do your content. That’s what you don’t seem to understand. We do your content in order to do our content.

Yes because I can definitely play wow on my phone at work. You really are out of touch.

I play at work. Most of the time you see me posting I’m working.

Notice out of the two groups which is asking for special treatment and which group isn’t. Pro tip the raiders aren’t asking for special treatment.

PS raiders are already doing your content.

Stop trying to be the entitled special snow flakes.

I don’t work from home so not everyone has that option.

Maybe you can expand on why that is? because you find it fun, because you want to push yourselves farther, etc?

Maybe that is all some solo players want, but they see room for gear to improve possibly at the time in the patch when the Mraiders and high M+ runners are locked at their maximum. Maybe all that is needed is say once the HoF is full, world content can be upgraded to normal or possibly heroic, never mythic, gear.

The issue here is that you feel like Solo-world content is it’s own path when really it just leads to the other end-game pillars.

Leveling-> Open-World-> Branches off into PvP, M+, Raid.

It isn’t what they want clearly. They are discontent with their progression path ending at the LFR level even though their “content” is braindead in difficulty and doesn’t justify higher rewards.

It’s still a progression path, it’s not like they will be LFR ilvl as soon as they hit max level.

Who determines what is difficult

Blizzard determines the difficulty. If you can kill it easily without even needing LFR gear then it is not difficult content. The gear provided is relative to the difficulty of the content, set by Blizzard.

Blizzard has their tuning targets. The tuning target for the world has historically been: reasonably easy for a fresh capped character. Normal raid assumes you have heroic-mythic dungeon gear. Heroic raid assumes you have a mix of M dungeon gear and normal raid gear. Mythic raid assumes mythic+ and heroic raid gear.
