How would you fix WoW

Condensed battlegrounds to 10-35, 35-60, & 60 with both rated and unrated for each. Disabling experience gains automatically puts you into rated.

Fixed item level for all unrated matches.

Heirloom Enchant scaling adjusted (looking at you Crusader/Elemental Force/Hidden Satyr) & Legion Artificats/Gems/Cogs heavily scaled down.

Any que system is solo content. That’s why LFR rewards the lowest ilvl gear.

The amount of people who buy tokens for the reasons I said is higher than you think.

Again removing the token won’t fix boosts.

Not really. Melee is brain dead easy to play :joy:

So stop commenting on things you don’t do.

That’s funny. I played with Nahj in Cata.

I never insulted you I also never claimed to be better than you.

I might have to do a Yoshi P move and remove all the developers that’s been working on WoW for the past 3 expansions including current one. Start anew with fresh innovating talent to bring life back into the game and improvise.

  • Bring back Brawler’s Guild.
  • Bring Strand of the Ancients back to PvP, but as a Brawl.
  • Scrap the renown system and let players upgrade PvP gear up to respective levels.
  • Take away covenant abilities / conduits so there’s less emphasis on min/maxing and people can freely choose what covenant they want to join without being punished for it.
  • Revamp the great vault system.
  • Needs to actually be alt friendly. Campaign completion progress is account-wide.
  • Free transfers from overpopulated servers to low populated servers. If we’re not gonna do anymore merging like how Fenris and Dragonblight were for example, this is the next best step.

Legitimately let players enjoy the game and progress how they see fit rather than lock us behind everything via time gating and extra requirements on top of it.

  1. No timegated campaign quest. You can get through the whole campaign story in one sitting or spread it out as you desire.

  2. LFR reduced to one week per wing release. Four weeks is enough time for people to at least clear a raid on Normal.

  3. Covenant abilities and soulbinds would be easily swappable. Abilities would be the next talent row, soulbinds would be based on which abilities you pick. You can change anywhere that is rested or use a tome/codex.

  4. No more conduit energy. Not even sure why this exists.

  5. Milestones for unlocking upgrades are accountbound. So for example, you hit T6 on archivist, ALL your alts can now upgrade Korthia gear to max.

  6. Campaign quests are skippable on alts provided you’ve done them at least once for that covenant (or just once for the SoD campaign since it’s covenant agnostic)

  7. Maw intro skip

  8. Your covenant choice is purely aesthetic. And whatever cosmetics you unlock will be fully unlocked come 10.0 for all toons regardless of covenant.

  9. Valor would not only be used to upgrade pieces but also buy pieces from a vendor, at a rate of roughly one piece per week

  10. Great Vault would analyze your gear and remove from its loot pool any duplicates of the same or lower ilvl. Duplicates of a higher ilvl will of course still have a chance to drop

  11. Same goes for the reward for weekly timewalking and mythic dungeon quests.

  12. Loot drops are buffed such that everyone should get at least one item per run, no one being left out (no guarantees it’ll be an upgrade)

  13. Timewalking is every week, and it’s weekly quest is in addtion to the other rotating weekly quests. And it includes Vanilla-Legion, and has all the dungeons, not just a handful. Week 1 is 'Nilla, 2 is BC, etc, etc, until it’s gone through all expansions and starts again. TW dungeons give 5 man heroic level loot.

  14. Chromie Time can extend to 60 once you’ve done the SL campaign once. Thus giving you 3 options to level a toon. SL campaign, ToF, or Chromie Time

  15. Professions are useful again. Drums are now only 5% behind Lust/Hero/TW. War scrolls are back. Mythics and raids drop items that can be used to craft mythic and raid level gear.

  16. Legendaries are overhauled. You can get the base item from some other grind that doesn’t involve professions. Maybe an NPC sells them for 50 Korthite crystals or something. So if you wanna buy the base item go ahead, but there’s another option that won’t involve a gold sink.

  17. WTS banned from LFG. I mean technically they are, but I’m talking about actually enforcing that ban.

  18. Make M+ a score based system rather than a time based system. Make time a component, like in Torghast, but overshooting the time isn’t a big deal so long as you makeup that score elsewhere.

  19. Torghast gives loot. Two runs = two items per week, ilvl based on what layer you’re doing. People be like “oh that makes it mandatory” eh, it’s the same loot you can get in M+ so go do M+ instead if you hate Torghast so much.

Most of this is a brainstorm and almost all of it is half baked but those are ideas I’d probably toy with and consider.

Would you be all happy and smile again if you were behind the scenes, being harassed? These women who are victims deserve justice. At this point, it’s not about playing the game, it’s about boycotting, standing up to blizzard, saying no more. Despite all that, yes, content is starting to become boring. One of the biggest let down is that Blizzard won’t listen to anyone, except for people who have a lot of cash.

Bring back CHALLENGE MODE!

I would cancel all project, retool the team for 10.0 which would be you get level 70 and every bit of the whole game also goes to level 70 and now you’ve got every raid to do all over again just rebalanced

Then I’d make WoW 2

  1. More solo player activities which reward relevant gear.
  2. Either remove M+ tracking (raider.io), or give more information to penalize leavers.
  3. Player housing
  4. Add gear tokens / badges back to the game so you aren’t entirely at the mercy of RNG.
  5. Add PvP stats back into the game and make PvP / PvE gear good ONLY for their respective gameplay styles.
  6. Remove borrowed power systems
  7. STOP PUSHING eSPORTS!!! It is ridiculous how toxic the community has become due to over promoting competition. Competition is great, but not when it gets to the point of “Glad or GTFO” and “3500+ io or GTFO”.
  8. Punish toxicity. Don’t just remove things like /spit, actually police the community and remove destructive trolls / people who just want to be mean to everyone else for the sake of compensating for their own inadequacies.

YoU JoIN a GRouP, both endeavors lead to a group. Its the same exact stuff buddy. Just different methods of entry.

"The amount of people who buy tokens for the reasons I said is higher than you think.

Again removing the token won’t fix boosts."

Doing nothing is better than doing something, according to you. Yikes.

“Not really. Melee is brain dead easy to play :joy:”

Oh really? You think UH DK is braindead to play? I’d like to see you get atleast a 95 parse once with UH DK. Pet management, rune management and effiency, runic power and proc efficiency. Lining up cooldowns and positioning and maximizing army of the dead usage.

I wouldn’t say its the hardest but its definitely not a mongo class.

“So stop commenting on things you don’t do.”

Fine listen to savix, venuki and stoopz on the matter.

“I never insulted you I also never claimed to be better than you.”

iM sORRY your coompREHENSION IS baD.

Well we can’t do nothing repeated talks on the forums are pointless. Did I say anything about them not working were did this lawsuit come into the picture? Not from me. All I said was I took a break cause boredom and usually come back happy. Wtf does this even have to do with the lawsuit? And many of you just need to break it seems. It’s out there your here I’m here guess it’s up to the court not us eh?

You are literally stuck in the past. You say, take a break, then come back. Now, I don’t know how much information you know about the lawsuit. But, tell me how one comes back “happily” after hearing these horrific allegations.

This is copy and pasted from an reliable source ——> A female employee died by suicide on a company trip. The lawsuit alleges this was “due to a sexual relationship she had been having with her male supervisor,”.

Taking a “break” is no longer an option at this point. You are either for them or against. Pick your poison.

Que content is literally solo content because you have zero effort to organize it. That’s why it offers the lowest rewards.

Yes.

Melee have maybe half the mechanics ranged do.

I played affliction in CN. It’s definitely harder than DK and I had higher parse average than you did in CN.

My rogue is right close to your DK in CN and that was on my old server playing at double the MS I play at now.

I also played Sub in Cata when it took way more managing that any class today does.

I actually enjoyed unholy DK and wish I had the time to level and gear it.

3 people’s opinions doesn’t validate brining a question system lol.

Stating an observation because you clearly can’t read what I have said isn’t an insult when it’s true.

Ban TSM or at least do something about cancel scanning.

There is no effort to creating a group, none, you invite and that’s it. There is no social element in it. Ya might as well make it queueable.

Their opinions vs yours, you’re not glad, you’re not a multi expansion glad.

Affliction warlock is not hard, I’m sorry but not sorry. They also were busted for a very long time for their insane single target. More mechanics I don’t think so because in this tier all I have done has been mechanics. Range have far more survivability than melee do in terms of avoiding damage. In CN it was considered unfriendly to be melee. This is a range dominant expansion. Why do you think they spam boomkins at a high level?

I was god awful in the CN tier I was super casual and was in a very drama filled guild at the time.

Should we look at range vs melee participation?

Your observations blow, I clearly comprehended your efforts to shill I just think your arguments suck.

False. Organizing a roster of the appropriate ratio of people takes more effort than clicking join group. That’s why LFR doesn’t give the top ilvl gear.

Ok and? I have played in duelist range on more than one character across multiple expansions. Still have more credibility than you do.

Affliction lock was considered one of the top 3 hardest specs in the game to play.

You had to manage 5 dots 2 debuffs and set up multiple burst windows.

CN was unfriendly to melee I don’t argue that. SoD is very melee friendly though.

They stack boomkins because of convoke damage for priority add damage. KT drop phase as an example.

I was in 3 different guilds and swapped mains. Need more excuses.

You do realize having more ranged doesn’t mean that ranged is easier to play. It just means ranged can deal with most mechanics easier.

I started the expac playing rogue and swapped to warlock because of being easier to find a raid spot.

Yet you can’t actually refute them.

I’m talking about mythic plus not raiding. I don’t have an issue with raidings lfg system.

Who cares if you have more credibility than me, venruki, savix and stoopz have far more credibility than you. Even asmongold thinks there should be a queue system in pvp rated.

Like sir, sit down.

As for your excuses. W.e, what matters now is that I play better than you right now. Idc what you did expansion ago or tiers ago.

What is hard or easy to play in the grand scheme of things is subjective, what the reality is, range dominates this expansion. It’s not even close.

Boomkins are also chosen cause they’re the best class in the game. Great survivability, insane burst and good mobility.
Uh dk is not brain dead. It has the highest management in the game.
Runic power management
Wounds management
Runic corruption effect
Pet management, using many macros to manage them.
Runes and how to cycle them efficiently.
Timing cooldowns windows while managing everything else.

It’s aoe setup alone is awkward an clunky.

Spreading wounds and timing cooldowns for max burst.

The drawbacks for messing up is a huge DPS loss. It’s more punishing.

I did refute them, you just back pedal to the same point and use fallacious arguments on repeat. Tokens are bad, range is better, lfg sucks, these aren’t minority positions. I guarantee if people were polled your train of thought would be in the minority.

The game isn’t in a good state anyway, so yeah losing almost 45% of player base in 4 years should tell you all you need to know. You’re wrong.

Here’s some of what I’d like to see changed:

  1. Threat needs an overhaul bad! Back in the old days, you took your time in dungeons. You did CC; hunter traps were useful. Today, people are all about doing it as quick as possible which mean blowing all your CD’s on as many mobs as possible (My parses!). This mentality makes it REALLY hard on tanks to keep agro when they need to, especially since our cleave is capped and we don’t put out any DPS to counter those DPS that do 23k per pull. I’m SO tired of everyone and everything taking threat, and if I die, I’m never getting threat back again. Make threat a tank only thing. Or make my taunt have no CD. I’m over it. Fix it!

  2. Make doing co-op things easier/more forgiving. Things don’t need to be tuned so tightly that if you don’t have heroism for Executor Tarvold that you can’t kill him on tyrannical weeks. Loosen it up, Let us have some fun!

  3. Make a covenant skip for alts. I’ve done every story once. I don’t want to do it again.

  4. Make things more accessible for Non-Neurotypical brains. Color coding for starters would be nice on the map, as well as signs and directions. Let mistakes not feel like the end of the world.

  5. 100k gold+ per legendary is absurd! Especially when you have to maintain at least 3 per toon, and forget doing legendaries on alts. Not worth it!

These are only some of the things I can think of that I’d like to see changed that I believe would help get WOW back to being fun.

Fire Every single developer, content creators, and producers, Keep the artist. bring in a New Crew that actually plays WoW as their main MMO.

Create a leveling experience, like The Ilse Of exile 1-50 where the entire story is playable with the help of your Friends (NO LFG) or AI companions you meet while leveling. Include the ability to receive gear through story and Dungeons that will allow you to start Raiding if you so choose. Raids are about competition gearing for the next Raid and shiny gear nothing else. Also have the ability to craft gear for PVP and PVE that is competitive with found gear.

As for PVP I am not qualified to say…however closer to WoW’s original PVP would be better I think.

Fixed the bias.
