Bump. When are we going to get a response on this? AV is basically not in the game anymore as no-one queues for it. Can’t even do the pvp daily if its AV.

This tied with the incredibly long BG queues horde side… Along with the depressing loot treadmill that is retail. At least gearing up a character through heroics and kara was fun for the nostalgia. But the evergreen content was always going to be arenas for me…
My time in this game would be at an end it would seem. Time to quit.

Oh it’s been read. It just isn’t being addressed because the hamster has died and the one dev is compiling data on the horde vs horde battleground weekend so he can flip the switch two weeks from now. Which just leaves the intern to do anything, and the fix for this is much more work than just doing horde vs horde battlegrounds and saying “there that fixed the issue”.
So honor is broken, we have evidence and a thread with 1400 likes and 1k+ replys and its almost been 3 months with no fix? no wonder everyone’s switching to ffxiv

unfortunately this isn’t the first time this has been pointed out on forums and blizzard doesn’t seem to be listening. Honor gains were nerfed towards the end of the expansion as the gear you could get was significantly better than the gear in 2.0 (phase 1) yet blizzard decided to stick with that even though there’s no reason at all to do so.

There is definitely something really wrong here. You can see in some of those videos where players are group up fighting on flags and earning 10 honor for a kill despite 3-4 people being there.

Not once in my 300,000k honor did I do this or will. If you want to get honor you earn it.
I’m late to starting TBC but just recently hit 70 and started trying to farm honor. Realized something was really wrong, did a google search and this thread came up. Just wanted to add my +1 to this. Honor is really slow, makes the game feel like a chore. Too bad it’s still not fixed.
Yeah there’s a fine line between feeling like you are making progress on a relatively large task versus feeling like you are toiling away on a daunting and needlessly long task.
TBCC Honor grind is on the wrong side of this line.
Seems like Blizzard is intentionally trying to dissuade people from doing PvP. It took me 2 weeks of 6 hours of AV to farm a staff, that’s just one piece. I geared my entire character in level 70 dungeons in about a week, and that gear is far better in terms of sp/crit.
Most of the blue honor gear and even the epic off pieces aren’t that great except stam/resilience, they’re worthless in PvE due to lack of hit on most of them, so I don’t see why Blizzard is walling them so hard.
