Not sure why blizzard had just a knee-jerk nerf after reading one post. It is pre-patch after all, not like the start of a real season or expack where this gear would be used to gain REAL advantages, only advantage was gearing these terrible geared boost toons. Which all the honor gear will be replaced anyways quickly in TBC. How silly, see some old videos, do no research and just hit the nerf 90% honor Botton… making honor farming useless
Because Kaivax was under the impression the hotfix was pushed out already - it was not. It’s coming
Here’s the fix. revert back to 10x honor gain. On the 1st just reset everyone’s honor back to zero. Then everyone’s happy. Before this honor nerf i was farming marks for my staff. i was on par to get my marks and honor at the same exact time. That to me seems correct or am i just high as a kite?

Yeah, and because BGs are filled to the brim with nothing but completely unranked freshly boosted retail players… SURPRISE … they aren’t gushing with honor with every free kill they give you.
It hasnt even been 2 days and the impact of retail players whining on forums, and social media, and campaigning to bump threads, and creating petitions … is my gd nightmare.

i got 15 honor from 1 hk in WSG. i think the rest of my team was dead so i recieved full honor
Remember, it’s not his fault all of this is going on. Can you imagine what their headquarters looks like right now? He’s just the messenger. The problem is the people making the design decisions. And not to mention the simple fact of that matter that surely there is mis-info shooting around that place more than ever. They know this BG thing is a MASSIVE problem. To the player-base. The problem is, unlike attempting to fix a X-realm bug, which has a lot less contention. They are ignoring a bug that is affecting thousands, upon thousands of players. Let’s be real here, how many people ACTUALLY give a F that you can invite someone from another realm at this moment? When BG’s are literally X-realm. Let’s focus on these massive problems first, and clean up the scraps.

Absolutely disgusting what Blizzard did ‘Nerfing’ The honor by a factor of 10. It’s an absolute joke and makes me want to quit the game tbh. While other people have already just farmed 75k honor and just can use it to their advantage in TBC we sit here and get 200 honor for an entire AV BG win… disgusting stupid move from blizzard and I hope they change it ASAP!

Some sort of public statement letting players know they are figuring out if the values are correct would be really nice. I was looking forward to farming bgs on multiple toons. Now I’m just leveling a belf instead.
The arena rating issue had hundreds of comments and it didn’t get a response immediately either. They won’t respond until they have something to actually say
They’ll probably boost HKs, and/or reduce DR on honor. That’s my guess
