wow, take a breath and chill your retail briches there buddy. they didnt nerf, they fixed. and what are they gonna ‘use to their advantage’? Gear that is literally days away from being completely obsolete?
Get some damn perspective people. If you’re mad because you just subbed, popped onto your assembly-lined boosted 58 and discovered that you cant just show up & collect the best pvp gear in all of the classic that you skipped in just a few hours or days … then it isnt a blizz problem or a wow problem, its a retail mentality problem.
If anything there are more rank 10-14 players in these bgs than have ever existed in the entirety of Vanilla/TBC roflmao. And I literally tested this on 2.5 and kills are yielding 14 honor base. This is a 2.4.3 value for lowbie killing lowbie. You would only see these low numbers playing 2.4.3 on a level 60 twink.
This is NOT how it was in prepatch. Or in season 1 or 2 for that matter.
Right now I ganked some 60s in world pvp and its giving a very normalized 14 honor per kill solo. This is very incompatible with prepatch information.

In good old blizz style it will take them less than 24 hours to make a hotfix that makes the game less fun. But a fix to motivate their players to play? Maybe in July.

Seems like every time I return to the game to see if the clown show at Blizzard has abated, within a few hours it becomes clear that it will never end.
So the only players who benefitted from this dumpster fire are the ones who got in before the nerf. Just like P2, and how many other times?
I see two options:
- Roll back all honor gained, and subsequent gear purchased, before the nerf.
- Buff honor to a more reasonable level.
It’s completely unfair to reward an arbitrary group of players while punishing another.
This should go without saying, but look at who we’re dealing with these days.

Im naxx/AQ/T3 Geared lmao it’s not just about the gear its the principle they give people big as advantages its just so stupid they farm 1 day of BGs and avoid doing dungeons to replace the level 60 item… its just dumb decreasing honor gain by 90% especially after so many people already got a 75k honor cap and only less then 2 weeks of time to go.

That doesn’t fix the issue though. Resetting honor hurts people who want to prep who are on their mains ready to go in the next week or 2. If anything that would cause mass afk premades as you might be seeing now. People will get their 100 marks per bg then stop doing pvp until they hit 70. Just a bad option for all involved.
