The correct answer is that a higher honor value is being split up among players.
Think of a 1:1 value like 60 honor for a level 60.
Split up among 20 people in an AV that’s 3 honor.
Split up across 5 people in WSG that’s 12 honor.
Kill with one guy nearby? ~30 honor…
Solo kill but its been diminished a couple times because you killed them twice? ~40 honor

Patch 2.4 has Concerted Efforts, the Honor turnin quest for turning in one of each mark.
You could say we are being triple dipped on our honor rewards as all the nerfs to honor for being a low level in 2.4.3 are applied but also all the other honor sources were also removed despite being in the 2.4.3. client.

Tbf honor given for hks go down 10% per kill of that player. Just make it 4-5 kills until it’s zero. This promotes objective play while giving you reasonable amounts of honor. This also heavily pushes against gy camping.
Good thing I haven’t picked a destination for all my rogues.
Before 2.4 honor DID diminish. So you could do the ole’ 10 kills on each player and finish the game.
Right now, there’s no honor to diminish lmao.

The fact that they responded about a different issue (saying they are hotfixing the crossrealm bug), yet ignoring this, shows that they have absolutely no intention on fixing it.

Hate to agree what I think this is what it is. They have decided to take the mentality of those from the private vanilla servers and outspoken streamers and they really don’t have any intention of changing it reguardless of the impact its having. I hope I’m wrong

yea sad to was having alot of fun doing BGs probably the most fun since the best parts of ranking, it really felt like for a bit that the vibe during these two weeks was going to be good, and now it’s back to this.

I’m gonna take a 30 min break. And when I come back from dropping the kids at the pool, finding a GD snack. I want to see a blue post here. Or I’m gonna find the nearest bridge, and let the coolest breeze flow through my hair before coming back home and sleeping safely in my bed.
