BTW, a 2 week pre patch isn’t “right” either.
Normally people just farmed HKs while doing objectives and the grind wasn’t bad at all.
At the same time, if you apply 2021 min/maxing, you will definitely have some insane HK farming strats. It would not be what you would be used to in original TBC, but it would be what would have happened if people in 2021 time traveled to original TBC.
I’m just wondering if they restored the original honor calculations, would we be pushing horde to the cave and farming their reinforcements to 0 each game? AB where we don’t capture any banner but kill everyone and farm at the starting base? WSG where we just don’t capture the flag? lol
I think even a optimized toxic HK farm is way better than the inauthentic double dip we are experiencing right now.

leveling a blood elf or draenei isn’t “right” either but here we are.
So far none of the videos have proven that 3525 honor points in a single AV is “correct”, the only thing that appears broken is the amount of honor per kill is too low and it should vary between 5-15 points per kill, not 1-2.
They just blue posted about the cross realm stuff, so it’s safe to say they are just actively ignoring this thread
No one is defending the original honor value, people are saying with less time for pre-patch it is currently mathematically impossible to get any pvp gear at the “correct” values.
People like you are why no one likes talking to each other and using LFR.

There are screenshots of AVs where people have well over 550 honor which is a 1:6 ratio, not the 250 we are seeing right now.
I might need to find out which patch normalized the HKs. The video I linked is definitely the best prepatch video to reference. He was getting many many kills between 26-40.
I didn’t start playing until mid TBC, so I don’t know, but weren’t Draenei and Blood Elves playable in the original pre patch?
It’s getting hard to tell because some videos that people say are from the correct period with a lvl 60 with tbc talents shows 5-15 honor, others are showing 20-40. It’s all over the place
The only thing I can think that is borking it up is lvl 60 characters are being treated like a 60 twink would be in tbc release - lower honor til max level (70)
This is the most frustrating thing I have ever witnessed. Just truly insanity. Also, might I ask why there is only ONE CM making actual post right now, and for stuff like this? Where did their team go? Out for milk and never came back? Like wtf is this?
nope - you were at an extreme disadvantage as you could not access the new races or zones til tbc released
with 6 weeks to the portal opening. we have 13 days its not the same.
There is no team anymore. Anyone worth a crap at Blizzard left a long time ago. It’s just interns and the scraps left over. Total trashcans.
