How to make Alliance faction popular

One thing that disappoints me with the Draenei is that they’re unable to be Druids :sob:

Out of the four races I like, on Alliance, only the Night Elves can be Druids, if I wanted to be one, from those select four.

Same with the Shaman, only the Draenei (not the Lightforged Draenei) can be Shamans :sob:

I greatly doubt this honestly.

Gnolls shouldn’t be Alliance. They’ve been fighting the Stormwind people since the Gnoll war.

They should be Horde.

Alliance gets all the story and character development.

From Legion, BFA, SL, DF we have seen the development of alliance hero characters like Anduin, Jaina, Tyrande, Khadga, Alleria into central pillars of warcraft. Sure sometimes Thrall or Baine tag along, but they are not being developed. They are just there.

Tyrande had an epic storyline with the Warrior of Elune
Anduin had the domination storyline and the consequences of that.
Jaina had the daughter of the sea thing going on.
Alleria is looking to be a centerpiece of TWW, we had recent development with Dark Heart.

Horde recently only had Saurfang, which was awesome but he is gone now and there does not seem to be any replacement.

Again I am not talking about Thrall or Baine tagging along, tagging along is not character development. I am talking about real character ARCS which move the plot along.

I was on my DH yesterday and used the toy that switches your faction.

Suddenly I was this female Draenei Demon Hunter and it looked amazing! Only thing I’d have changed is I’d have made the skin red.

I’m not lying, I rarely go bonkers in this game, but that got me excited, then obviously the crushing reality hits, but it’ll be something to be happy about if it ever happens.

I don’t care enough about Lore anymore, it’s all been butchered, so I’m hoping.

Reminder that the orcs utterly lost the Second War and were locked-up.

Reminder, the opposite happened in the First War. See how it doesn’t matter?

And yet OP claimed no one plays these races unless they’re casuals.

Why even bring that up if he’s not taking into account high end gaming?

OP even tried to claim no Alliance does keys above 10s.

True, but it depends on one’s definition of “casual”, too.

I may not do end game raiding (in any capacity) nor PvP, but I can still play hours on end just leveling & questing (working on professions), etc. In fact, my husband (more of a raider than me) usually asks me about low level/irrelevant content questions 'cause he knows I’ll have the answers

Mostly Vanilla (well, the Cata version of it, I guess) & WoD areas, anyway.

Well if it’s Alliance then how about Centaur?

Alliance LOVE horses, so it would probably be popular.

I prefer Dryad, and the Horde can have the Centaurs.

you do realize hordes mostly popular because of blood elves right?

Which the Alliance now have through the Void Elves LOL

I can play an Alliance “Belf” in WoD, yay!

Apparently his definition is:

I’m also waiting for Brewa to find this thread and be like, “what the?” LOL

Factions don’t even matter anymore for any type of gameplay content. They’re a cultural and lore device for the RPG element. Different people will enjoy different things.

Though I still say KT shouldn’t have existed and they should have given us Drust in the form of a another step of height between Vrykul and Humans. They could have been as tall as Zandalari and the lore would’ve made more sense.

Insert Human Paladin Riding a Centaur pic

This also makes a lot more sense. Dryads and Night Elves go hand in hand.

After recent events in the Tauren line, the Centaurs from DF would likely go Horde. (Provided they had to choose a side)

It matters to me 'cause I don’t like the Horde WoD Garrison.

I’d do it, I’m not proud.

I mean, that’s fair. I suppose Garrisons are a gameplay element. And I dislike the twigs and ripped cloth in the snow, too. lol

sadly those high elf cultist, keep demanding they get “High elves” when there is already some on alliance…

The orcs defeated the Alliance in the First War?

This is clearly fan-fiction. Last I checked, this isn’t ao3. Fan-fiction has no place here.

Yeah, pretty funny too. Alliance ran away and then the orcs were like “They left these perfectly good bodies”. Was so funny seeing the orcs trying on the bodies and spooking the Alliance with it.
