How to fix mythic+ overnight

Well I’ve along been tired of the Challenger’s Peril tears everyone has been crying. It’s the only affix I’ve ever liked lol.

I’d rather have real affixes back, bolstering, sanguine, bursting.

Not if done as a timed run with a key, as outlined above.

omg, what lol? bro why? what did those add to the game for you

Variety. it was nice.

i am struggling so badly to wrap my head around this lol. how long do you usually engage in a season?

Till something more interesting comes along. (Like League of Legends releasing Smolder, Diablo 4. etc.)
Now slowly doing 12s cause I suspect I’ll cap out at 15s.

Is there really a quick fix for it? I feel like Mythic+ needs to have its own gear, the way PvP does, with stats and bonuses specific to Mythic Dungeons. Starting at +2 and working your way up should grant the gear needed to progress. If the stats were geared more toward the Affixes, and it increased incrementally with keys, the system might feel more worthwhile, and while still challenging have some depth and range, and not just over-tuned mechanics to give it that illusion. Just my opinion of course. I stopped doing them awhile back for medical reasons.

I mean, yes. That’s how it’s supposed to be.

If defensives aren’t actually necessary than players who find two brain cells to rub together become overpowered by using them, and the job of healers becomes minimized to the point that they’re just a bad DPS.

They tried that and the lazy puddles who play the game cried and cried and cried cause it was hard and they didn’t want to have to try.

There’s literally no change they could make to M+ that wouldn’t result in a bunch of crying.

I know blizz wants people to play m+, this aint one of them,

Remove fortified if anything - the main reason I stopped doing M+ is because it’s way too focused on trash.

Just let us blow threw that boring junk and focus on enticing boss fights

False. Healers can be required without everything being spike damage.

Give players bigger health pools, nerf and prune defensives, and take 100% of them off the GCD. Would be a massive improvement to the game.

If defensives exist but aren’t required then learning how to use them will invalidate healers. They do and should exist, however, and pretty much the only way to make a meaningful defensive is as protection against spike damage.

nerf and prune defensives

This would be an objective degradation of the current gameplay.

Bigger health pools is fine, but now you’re talking about a completely different healing paradigm that Blizzard abandoned long ago, and which would require a top-to-bottom rework of every healing spec. It’s the Cataclysm paradigm, and I actually prefer it personally, but that is utterly distinct from what exists now. I question how many healers would want to give up their involved rotations in favor of mana management, given how many “healers” don’t actually want to be healers at all in any case. They want to be DPS, and you’re implicitly requesting the removal of a piece of the healing paradigm that both makes the role more DPS-esque while still keeping them as healers.

i wouldnt mind if they took a huge step back from both trash and boss mechanics. this is just a matter of preference, but i hate that i have to watch an in-depth guide video before stepping into these things. and thats just to get a basic understanding. i have to play them a few dozen times before i really understand every cast and ability

I do dungeons and still don’t understand some things. Knowledge isn’t that important, up to an 11 at least.

No they just can’t have classes with like 5 of them or so much off healing and self/group DR that healers aren’t needed.

I really don’t care what they do, but I’m tired of being 100% hp with a defensive or dead. Or looking at all the defensives on cooldown and going “yup I’m dead”.

Will be a 5 rogue meta lol

Ah yes, the ole
“How to fix M+, Overnight” post,
That just tells people a couple things that one person doesn’t like about m+.

Love these.

Its called raids. Fortified is the fun week.
