Not really an issue, most classes can deal with it. Just force party members to use their cleanses. The only people who cannot easily deal with it are Warriors, whose self cleanse is on a long cooldown, but they can mitigate it a bit with impending victory so they just need a bit of a top off.
No disagreements on the other stuff really, Tyrannical is bad.
I’m ok with them creating a different game mode that does not have a timer. Heck, I’d even play it. But you can’t remove the timer from mythic+. It is literally what defines it.
I’ve only had the opportunity to play with it a few keys. What exactly happens if you just ignore it in a player? Is it just less of a group buff or what?
Doing defensive rotations is only fun if you’re a tank. It’s the primary learning curve in every new key level when as a dps I should be pushed to min/max my damage before defensives. It’s on its head.
I think they could go a long way in fixing this by further buffing player HP pools though and leaving the rest similar. Maybe have enemy damage scale at 8% per key instead of 10%.
This makes no sense. The mob scaling damage is what makes a 12 a 12. If it didn’t scale past 10, it would be an asbolute joke. To fix M+ they need to reset the entire ladder, remove Disc Priest, Aug Evoker, Frost DK, Enhance Shaman, Resto Shaman and Prot Paladin from the game and then it will be fixed.
Not quite. The scaling eventually reaching one-shot levels (there is only one one-shot in all of +10s for geared players) is what keeps healers in groups. If you cut the damage scaling early, you end up with 1 tank 4 DPS groups because the only factor will be doing the most DPS as possible to push further.
theres normal heroic and mythic 0 if you dont like timers.
why be upset of 1/4 of the content when the other 3/4s of it is made for the casual player.
people that dont want timers on a challenge mode can go ahead and play hardmode timeways. it dropped hero gear per boss and crests. but as soon as one person died it was game over and you wouldnt get the good rewards at all.
people who ran high keys were fine with it.
people who didnt never saw the content. even though you could literally lust every pack and boss if you feel like it.
You still have to use them in a 10. The problem is that eventually it gets to the point where degenerate things start happening in order to live. Augmentation, for instance. Another example would be dragonflight mage. Meanwhile you had shamans, hunters, and druids that required all sorts of externals from other players just to live.
