It is not “cannot”, it is “refuses”.
Also please correct pronouns.
Meanwhile 90% of the my keys I’ve pugged result in people leaving, and me being stuck with a 9 I don’t want to run. Again, I’ve already brought my key up to a 10, I do not need to continuously prove that I can time a 9 or +2 an 8. I’ve timed a 9, I’m ready to attempt 10s. Why is there a need to constantly have to redo 9s because I didn’t finish the 10 in time or other people left my group?
If dps played okay there would be more tanks and healers.
A failure of 90% at 10s is pretty much a you problem.
It’s like that for me at 12s because that’s progression for me.
Personally I’d rather M+ not be a requirement to mythic raid. I don’t find it enjoyable.
Is this a “if you agree with this you just want everything handed to you” bait? It smells like one.
He and many others only want to advocate for things that grant them personal benefits because they are unable to see past the short-sighted gains to see the long-term detriments. It’s always terrible takes from people who don’t do the content and trying to change the for those who actually do them.
No, I just think it’s a good idea. Solves the perma-extend issue too for raiders.
And it has precedent with mission tables in the past.
Countrary,
you thinking to benefit your ego,
I seek to benefit 12+ million players.
How is it that you experience 90% failure rate and it isn’t a common denominator issue while others who pug have a success rate of 90%?
Except you barely do the content and are advocating for things that I have thoroughly outlined as being detrimental for pugs and only for pugs, which I am a part of. You also spoke about Mythic raids. It’s clear that you want to change things to only benefit you.
I can see how removing depletions can benefit me, but I am capable of stepping back and seeing the larger picture of how it would open doors for new exploits and degenerate play that will make pugging a net-negative compared to now.
Who benefits from deletion of mythic raiding?
Theres the “your the common denominator” argument I was waiting for. Its too bad in all my successful keys I’m typically top dps huh?
12s are where I’m at for the most part as well. Wouldn’t it be nice if you could freely try 12s after showing you can + 2 a 10 or time an 11 instead of constantly needing to do the lower keys just to be able to even attempt a 12? Sounds nice to me.
Your strawman misses by 1000 miles and flies out of the window.
Please roll dices again.
So you know that… 2k rating person hosting a 10? Maybe don’t join that one?
If you’re top dps, that is very much a you issue, I don’t think it should be that consistent. Group with better players.
I joined a lot, hlped them get thier KSH.
But its because I fundamentalyl care about commuinity.
You care that you getting carried in your mraid team.
First of, good joke, ain’t no way there are 12 million players now, let alone pugging m+, but let’s humor this number. It’s 1/5 of that benefiting, 4/5 having a detriment.
There would be if I was game director, trust.
Well, good thing you are not.
Your ego would be fine, dont worry.
This isn’t an argument about me joining a pug that fails, what conversation have you been following? This is a discussion about me not wanting to start my own group and risk my key.
I’m grouping with players that are 2700+ and have timed 11s and 12s. I’m top dps because unholy dk is very good in m+ with big aoe pulls right now. Being top dps also isn’t a me problem.
This might be one of the weirdest posts I’ve read today. I think thats enough for me for reals now.
It’s not about my ego. I literally listed out the negatives of removing the depletion system completely. I’ve even explained other alternatives that would strike a balance between the current system and removing it. You literally cannot think past how this change would benefit you and now how it would harm the larger M+ pug community. You tried to speak for the benefit of pugs, but you are not benefitting them (or I [because I pug]) in the larger picture.
