How to appeal perma ban

There is no way I did anything worth perma banning.

Looking for assistance from customer service on how to get this changed. There is NO WAY my account should be permanently closed.

You have to put in an appeal ticket. Good luck with it!

While false positives do happen, it’s rare that a permaban is. Just to set expectations for you.

you know at the top right where you mouse over your account name? there is a support section. Go there. Then Get Help near the top right

The email you received should have contained a reason for the account action. Certain things, like chat violations, start off with a relatively minor penalty before escalating to an account closure.

You’re welcome. Best of luck! They dont really solve the issues here with these types of things on this forum. The CMs may be able to add some insight on things but not directly solve your problem sadly it has to be the ticket system.

Anything you did last night would be unrelated to any action you got today.

Turnaround time from conduct to penalty is usually on the order of days to weeks, not hours.

The forums aren’t the place the contest an account action, that can only be done via an appeal.

Nope, definitely not. The Blues who moderate this forum have debunked that more times than I can count. All account actions are applied by a real GM (or hacks team) based on player reports.

The action that was reported could have been days or even weeks ago. That’s because the reports are reviewed manually before an account action is applied.

That can only be done via the appeal ticket, which you have submitted. There’s nothing that can be done via the forums and the Support Forum Agents in the CS forum do not review appeals. They may give you some insight and also clear up some other misconceptions about the system, but that’s about it.

I’m sure the resident Vrak or Orlyia will be able to provide receipts of what was said and when it was said, but probably not when they’re out of office.

If it’s a permanent closure, that means you’ve been actioned enough times that you’ve passed the limit.

Severity of a punishment is largely based on the account history.

Just to be clear: That’s not their job whatsoever - the best they can say (read: not do anything about it) is read from the notes. They have no power over the appeal team, not overturn account actions.

If you have a habit of inappropriate language, that can and will lead to an account closure too.

That’s why punishments increase each time. So that you can learn to adjust inappropriate behaviours and language.

Even if they can provide some insight, they are not involved in the appeal process.

i’m not asking them to overturn, i’m looking for clarity on how i went from a 2 week suspension to a permanent closure over something so trivial. I don’t know how my communication yesterday could net me even a suspension let alone a ban
