How TBC should be introduced!

The least intrusive would be to force progress everyone over and say tough luck Classic fans were doing it the old way. That takes the least effort.

Also your idea that im

is clearly false. I dont want everyone to start over at level one. I want SOME people that WANT to start over at level one to start over at level one on fresh servers. I want people, like you, to go to your copy transfer whatever server and enjoy your game play far away from me.

I dont care what the restrictions are

What i care about is being able to keep my character intact in vanilla servers while ALSO getting to play a copy of that character in TBC

I dont care if there is a gold cap, but i want my gear, mounts, rep, titles, ect. To stay intact for my TBC copy and i don’t want to have to essentially “delete” my character in vanilla to play TBC

thats great and you should edit your original post to reflect your change of mind otherwise this thread will argue an idea you do not agree with.

Nah, it’ll be just like the first time. Everyone moves on to TBC, done. Enjoy no changes!

Hoping they phase content like they did classic.

It makes 0 sense to make tbc servers. The majority of players want tbc. It makes more financial sense for blizzard to progress classic to tbc and make a few perma classic servers for the few who wants perma classic. This also protects their IP against pservers. All that matters is what makes or saves blizzard more money.

Progressing classic to tbc makes more sense when you consider gold duping or any other potential issues. It’s the most blizzlike exp to go into tbc like we did in 07.

Very very few players want to start fresh at level 1. We didn’t put all this time and effort in to lose our characters progress.

Additionally, making me start from level 1 won’t make me not race to 70 and use my tbc pserver exp against everyone else. You can’t take my knowledge away. If anything it puts less experienced players at a disadvantage.

I’m sure they will. I hope they keep the heroic key req at revered though.

You seem mad. Dont be mad. You were wrong, its easy to verify just go to wowhead… Doesn’t seem worth nerd-raging over tho

I disagree. They will do the easiest and cost saving thing. Progress classic to tbc and create a few perma classic servers.

They definitely should phase content in Classic TBC but they also should follow the same patch schedule so that the content matches the buffs and nerfs of the patches. That’s a major mistake they made with Classic Vanilla.

Preach. I wouldn’t have a problem with putting each tier in its own phase. Though I think only the absolute sweatiest of guilds will clear through it all super fast the average players will take a while probably to clear all of kara, mag, gruuls, tk, and ssc.

Hungering Cold got expertise instead of weapon skill with the changes. It would still be quite valuable as it would last all the way until Latro’s from Heroic Black Morass.

Plus there’s no guarantee you get latro’s the first time. Either way T3 saves a lot of gold when you can vendor or de quest greens/blues.

All Pservers are illegal btw there is no question of how or when they do it just how blizzard wants to enforce the C&D. So reguardless of however they avdvance TBC Blizzard will still own the ip and have the ability to shut down any and all private servers that will listen to its C&D order. Not to say that all companies will care about it though.

Yes but foreign countries do not care about that. That is why pservers are hosted in RU. They don’t care. Countries like France usually don’t care either but now that classic exists the loophole is closed.

I dont think its a loop hole its that they, like you said, dont care. The major difference is that classic exists so people are more likely to play that. Didnt kungen go to a p-server for Vanilla that was “true to the experience”?

Not that this really matters to how TBC comes out though i i would be eslfish and ask for one new TBC server at least.

Everything bad about the Classic economy will continue into TBC unless TBC starts with fresh servers.

It’s not as big a deal as people think it will be to start fresh; and short of Blizzard siphoning away millions of gold between now and TBC, there is no way to fix the Classic economy. We’re approaching phase 6 and botting still isn’t under control.

No… some countries would let the pserver run as Blizzard no longer provided that version of the game until now. Just like TBC pservers are still very active as there is no current version of TBC to play. As soon as that happens those servers will actually have to shut down. The loophole is basically that if the company doesn’t provide the version of the game that you are playing then there is nothing wrong. As soon as its provided again then those countries will enforce the C&D.

This only applies to some countries that are not the U.S. The US definitely makes them shut down which is what happened to Nost.

Economy on the servers ive played has been fine… no idea why people hate it so much… maybe because people are on mega servers. Maybe that has something to do with it.

It doesn’t matter though because you can’t take the knowledge away from pserver players so we will just get to 70 faster and farm the needed tbc mats faster.

Well im not an expert on IP law relative to other countries so i could see that being a thing
