Anyone with a highschool level education can make the determination that nothing you have posted proves what you are claiming is true.
The majority of players do not support dual spec implementation… see I did the same thing just now.
You’re actually 100% right. You need to respec to pvp as a rogue. Warriors are somewhat the same. Most of us are prot and we need to respec arms to effectively pvp. But that’s the game. You save the gold each week, buy your consumes and respecs and do what you need to do - because these are the constraints of the game. simples. It is what it is and petitioning to change it is lame AF!

My comment was focused on the fact that Stopdotnlol made the statement that one doesn’t need a pvp spec to pvp effectively, and my comment focuses on that from Rogue pov. I literally prefaced it with my first sentence to avoid having people say I want dual spec just because I stated that rogue needs multiple specs to do multiple aspects of the game.
People create a Dual Spec thread on this forum every few days and it blows up.
Not sure what rock you’re living under.
Then just make the thread and draw more support with that than the pro Dual Spec threads.
Shouldn’t be too hard, right?

I wasn’t claiming that you were arguing for dual spec but rather that people adopting your argument (which was correct) in defence of adding dual spec would be wrong to do so.
I actually said you were correct. That was my first sentence. You and me are not in disagreement - at least I don’t think so yet.

And of course it really mattera a lot to me that YOU read my entire post. Not anyone else just YOU. I mean, i was responding to the OP. Within the context of my response it was easy to see who i was replying to and who it was that i was hoping read it.
But since YOU felt the need to reply, only to inform me that YOU didnt bother to read it, i decided to respond to YOU this time. So now when you reply that you didnt read it, it actually has a little tiny bit of matter. I mean think about it. I was responding to another person in the previous post. I dont know that i should tell you that it was pointless for you to notify me that u didnt read my reply to another person. Or to tell you that i could give 2 fks that you didnt read it. Or to just acknowledge that rather than have an open and cordial convesation, you would rather announce that you are not really interested and are just another of those thay gets satisfaction from feeling they participated and contributed in rejecting another persons enjoyment by siding against a clear and obvious improvement.

One thing on solving the tank crisis - would that spawn new reserve/loot rules for dungeons?
Example: holy paladin main need x healing item from y dungeon. There are no tanks, so he goes prot to get the run in. Now say the other healer, druid for this example, in the group also needs that item, would the paladin get a roll on the item as well? or is he out of luck? because in my opinion, dual spec won’t go as far as to fix the tank crisis if people are not allowed to roll for items for their main spec when filling the tank role to help the group.
Now, if it was normalized that tanks charge for their services then the hpal might feel better going prot and passing on the item knowing they are getting some gold for the run.

That’s entirely dependent on the group. If no one talks, and the Paladin says he needs the item for his main spec, then either roll on it and let the fallout happen, or talk sooner and let the group decide.
That’s not really a dual spec issue, that’s more of just a player issue.
