There should have been like 50 Draenei to every Orc in Draenor though.
idk how the draenei has a good population that act wiped out 90% of the draenei
same goes with the blood elves when arthas attack sunwell lol
I know…but I’m not telling.
I meant before it happened.
Humans have around 2.4 births per woman on average, across a lifespan of around 70 years. Draenei live around 150-200 times longer than that. So unless Draenei just stop having children after the first century of their lives… there probably ought to be a lot of Draenei.
Most fantasy settings solve this by waving their hands and saying “Elves have a low birth rate or something” (half-elves doing just fine though!)
Walks up and puts a half dozen children in your arms “Thanks, I hate it.” /joke
We’ll cross that road when whe get there
Didn’t we already do that? Something something Demonblood Orc invasion marching down the Path of Glory to the Dark Portal?
“I’m old, I know I don’t look it but I’m beginning to feel it in my heart. I feel thin… sort of stretched, like butter scraped over too much bread. I need a holiday. A very long holiday”.
I didn’t want to say it…but you were always kinda malnourished… someone get these poor Blood Elves some sandwiches!
I feel hungry now.
Just spoiling the Blood Elf with food
I think that’s up to you to decide.
Going by the official timeline they put out a few years back, Vanilla started in the Year 617, Dragonflight started in Year 632 which means TWW most likely begins in 633 or 634. Assuming Azeroth’s various militaries don’t recruit people under the age of 16, that means a character who has been there since the start will be, at minimum, 32 years old by this point.
Of course, it probably doesn’t matter since Azeroth is giving the player special treatment and we probably age at the same rate as Turalyon.
My human main started on day 1 of vanilla WoW, and I imagined her to be like 17, perfect age for the start of any good traditional Hero’s Journey. Assuming more or less real-time progression since then, she’s in her late thirties now, a veteran of many conflicts.
I think the last time I got into the timeline and math, I had mine in her mid-40’s.
I think it’s only been like 15(ish) years in-universe since Classic.
This toon was created a little over 17 years ago. So probably mid to late 30’s.
I guess it depends when you start your character either in vanilla or in one of the expansions. For this character, I started in cataclysm and I was 25 at the time of starting this character so I have to assume that My character is at least 38 by the time of this expansion lol. For my undead and elf characters this is irrelevant lol.
Of course you answer your own question and still don’t realize it
Elves live a pretty long time. Sometimes I change my hair color and rp that I’m an older blood elf.
