I play on a rp server so for rp, Raina is 25 icly. Next year she’ll be 26. Old enough to know better. Young enough to make older characters sprout new gray hairs. Or go bald.
older than anduin thats for sure, the player character was an adult while anduin was like 5 or 6
I slowly grey the hair, or fur, on my characters with each expansion until I can’t any longer, then they retire and I start a new, younger character of the same race.
So, When Ion tried to explain the time skip at hte end of Shadowlands he said there were 2 years between each xpac and 3 between SL and DF. an xpac is 2 (?) years. So, pick when your character was, lets say 19 and add the times up? 19 at the start of cata, add 2 for cata, 2 for the skip, two for pandaland, 2 for the skip, 2 for WoD, 2 for the skip, 2 for legion 2 for the skip, 2 for BfA plus 2, 5 five sl with skip, 2 for df plus 2. thats 29 + the 19, that character is 48 ish today. is your character was an adult for classic they are around 60.

15 years have passed in game from classic to TWW. So mid 30’s early 40’s for humans.

Notably before they settled on Draenor they all lived in ships (hard population limit) then they settled on draenor within the orcs own perception of history with a culture of cautious population growth competeing with a population boom of sudden space. After all of this they deal with a brutal genocide as a result of the Burning Legion that has been harassing them since fleeing Argus.
That’s one population boom swiftly followed by horrific loss of life. Swiftly followed by more time in a ship followed by more war.

Which is amazing as I’d never be in my 20’s again for anything. From what I gather it is sort of like being drunk, that is, we have the most confidence in our abilities when they are actually at their worst. LOL.
Actually looking back over seven decades of life, there is no age I’d go back to as I would not exchange lessons learned for youthful um… exuberance. Especially regarding the difficult and even painful lessons learned.
My characters run from the very young to those who are retired in Suramar with the wealth earned from adventuring to those who always seem to have one more reason to put the armor back on, even with complaining joints or remembering to chew on the right side as most of the teeth on the left are broken. The worst are old battlefields were everything comes back, except for the companions lost.
My characters and I have had quite the journey and I’m looking forward to what lies ahead both in and out of the game.
Since changing mine to a Mag’har from AU Draenor I put mine at around my actual age .
