i get they’re adults but like… what’s the age-range of them? we can make faces that look like they janywhere between 23 to 83, but like… how old are they really supposed to be?
Entirely depends on the race and what backstory you want for them. Some races don’t live as long. Others live thousands or hundreds of years.
No no. That’s us IRL.
Depends on the race but I think they’re typically intended to be young adults.
However old you want them to be? They removed the day and night cycle many…something besides moons ago. We’re stuck in a parallel dimension to reality where time just don’t seem to pass. Nozdorumu is dealing with so much crap he just hit pause on our Azeroth so he has a place to just TRY and decompress.
How much times passes between each death you have? Does the spirit healer affect your time of death to rebirth? All my characters are old as dirt. Mag’har came before the dark portal opening. My greenskins comes from the dark portal. My Tauren still gets called young by people in thunderbluff but Tauren have been around so long the elders must be vampires.
No they didn’t.
Your character is exactly as old as you want them to be, within reason (please don’t decide your wrinkly white-haired human is 3 years old lol)
I like to think my character is a very young adult. I like to explore the idea of being in my 20s while every other Draenei is in their 1000s lol
I remember it getting dark but it don’t seem to amymore
Most of where we’re at right now is underground. But it gets dark on the Isle of Dorn and it did in Dragon Isles as well.
Shadowlands were an entirely different realm, as is Emerald Dream.
if someone decided that’s how old their character is, i think everyone else has a duty to treat them as if they’re a nursing-home escapee.
Whatever your head canon says about your character /shrug
Day and night cycle is still there, it’s like 3 hours behind zone time… so it can be pitch dark outside and… weirdly barely sunset in Stormwind/Org.
Assuming they just turned 18 (could be the case for humans, night elves, etc.) in vanilla, they’re middle-aged right now. Lol.
Prior to that though?
I know it was a graphical change in that they toned it down a lot. Not literal. I remember along time ago in eastern kingdoms it becoming actually night outside, then one day it just kinda wasn’t there any more.
Like 13 to 25000
Legion had some of the darkest nights. As did BfA. Warlords was a different planet, but also had a cycle.
Every expansion did. But yeah, prior to Warlords, iirc, the graphics for day/night changed.
Maybe I just don’t play at the right times, I didn’t notice in dragon flight though. Also, I do love that we got rain now.
I’ll admit I’m wrong, fuzzy memory.
Probably, I have to stay up till nearly midnight for it to really start getting like night black or even just 10 PM to really get a nice sunset. Makes sense, the main servers are in Pacific Stendard Time, which is a few hours behind at CST myself.
is that including the fact there’s been timeskips?
