It was there to enable build tweaks and misclicks, not designed to be a switch one uses often. Why on earth do you imagine the penalty cost ramps up?

If we’re listing things that would improve in a Classic + or a Vanilla with sprinkles It would be a reasonable accommodation esp for hybrid classes or PvP players. If they’re going to do #somechanges then I may as well get my ONE little thing that is practical and does not affect gameplay in any negative meaningful way.

If “Evolving” is the only way then how did pservers survive as long as they have… they are still several that are heavily active even today. In fact they prolly got a nice boost at bliz’s betrayal of their Classic community by forcing /incentivizing TBC and penalizing Classic Era players who wanted to experience the portal (just once)

Unsubbed until fresh comes out as TBC was a failure. Didn’t really get to play much vanilla but my bro and I will be playing it if/when released. Hoping soon as it sounds pretty fun. If it isn’t released soon I’m afraid of one of us if not both will lose interest/life will come up.

Explain how having an ‘off spec’ would ‘ruin Vanilla’ I don’t see how it even would negatively affect any aspect of the game. And I’ve already specified the great benefits that it brings to the QoL of players. At the very least having a PvP spec and a PvE spec is optimal for anyone seeking to enjoy their class in Classic wow to the fullest.

Lot of people refer to dual spec as off spec because usually the second specs their off spec

I will absolutely be playing fresh. Especially if Blizzard can get it together and at least attempt to fix issues like bots, mage boost meta, insane inflation, etc. Seriously, even just a monthly ban wave would fix so many things.

But yeah, I’ll be playing.
