I’m not interested, unless maybe they add gold tokens. I don’t have the time it requires to play a fresh character on a fresh server.
I would absolutely come back for Classic + and happily give Blizz more of my money.
I’d probably come back for a fresh reset regardless tbh… I just probably wouldn’t stay long because the same issues would crop up again. Bots mainly… But also world buffs, boosting etc…
Honestly I think seasonal classic era should have been a thing since TBC classic launch . obviously most people flocked directly to TBC but there seems to be a niche crowd who want to stick to vanilla. Having a seasonal realm run through the content cycle every year or so would keep all those who want fresh happy. I do also feel they need to merge the current classic era servers Im confused with how it is setup now but they should attempt to funnel remaining classic era players into like 2-4 realms or something. with a situation like this it can be difficult to make everyone happy as it seems feelings toward classic+ and fresh/seasonal are generally conflicting.

We have jobs, a life, kids?, responsibilities, it’s not practical to grind for 10 hours a week to make the 50g needed to respect… and then respect again to raid / pvp rank.
Dual talent is practical (if there are any changes the only question is HOW MANY changes is ‘too much’ If we’re nerfing world buffs and making bosses harder give us dual talent as well)
That said I’d rather have #nochanges and guarantee a FOREVER server that does NOT go to TBC

Yeah I can see myself making a fresh character . I am pretty much done with my warrior and rogue . both warlords . I would make a new char . Something that I never tried before . I miss active classic servers. I would still play , Heck I am bored of TBC .

Yeah, I think I would play.
Of course, there were lots of things I was dissatisfied with in original Classic, be it Blizzard’s mismanagement of bots and the servers, or some of the things intrinsic to Classic, such as the rank 14 grind.
That being said, I like some of the changes they’ve mentioned, and would be satisfied to play such a version of Classic, even if it isn’t as extensive as I’d personally like.
I didn’t play much for phases 2-5, and I didn’t experience Naxxramas when I got back into the game in phase 6, so this will be my chance.
if you can’t even devote enough time to grind 50g for respecs, then this game is not for you. go play some mobile game instead.

You can make 50g in less than two hours in DME.

Probably not.
I went to play classic and classic TBC with friends, but those friends flaked. When I was in high school, it was fun. But I don’t feel like the time grind that’s required for oldschool wow really sticks for me at 30. Especially needing people to play with to make it worth the effort and finding new groups that could easily fall apart. Running around and exploring the game alone doesn’t hold the same interest it did when I didn’t know anything about it.
If they were to do classic+ or remake everything with updated graphics and new content, I’d give it a go.

Count me in! Will most likely continue to play every new season and enjoy new classes and alternate factions. Attachment creates disease, so annual wipes will always remain healthy.
