How many of you still click abilities?

Judging by all of the reaction videos i’m seeing it’s like at least half the player base.

You don’t cast from your spellbook? But, it’s a spellbook that’s what it’s for.

Imagine clicking in 2023 still.

My issue is how do people play this game for literally years and not be like “You know what in going to try and get better” lmfao

tbh it’s actually pretty hard to transition to keybinds if you’ve been clicking for many years. You have to force yourself to do it or you’ll just go back to clicking by habit. I bought a logitech mmo mouse years ago and it helped me transition to keybinds tremendously.

it also helps a lot if you start small and keep working up the amount you have. the amount of HC deaths i see almost all of them are players clicking important abilities. I mean at least have your health potion on a keybind.

Yea idk just do like 3-4 binds a week to learn them all.

I just don’t understand doing something for years and not wanting to get better, that’s literally human nature

it’s just a mindset. My old roommate started playing classic again awhile back for tbc and he would only get the bare minimum addons , even for pvp which is what he was into. He could have gotten WAs that would have helped him improve/ be more aware and he just refused to get any of them when i would link the ones he should get. I think its kind of the same mindset as that

the majority of abilities are keybinds but there are the 2-3 odd abilities that people click

Well I don’t have voice or eye activation so I still click things. For the most part everything is setup on my mouse. Those little buttons still require me to click them to activate an ability, macro etc…

I click things and I play on a laptop with no mouse!

I do half and half. My most frequent abilities I use buttons for, for less frequent abilities (like CDs) I click.

Works out fine for me. If you can do Mythic or whatever the highest difficulty at any point in the game with it, its probably fine.

Ain’t no way I would be wanting to click my CDs as a tank but you do you I guess

There are only a few things I click while in combat.

Offensive Cooldowns/Sapper/Bombs
Divine Intervention

Anything else I click is used out of combat, like food or hearthstone.

I have 27 keybinds on my retail elemental shaman
