I am assuming you mean you have given up on obtaining the mount. I find this sad that there are so many people who want the mount but will not give normal a try. A handful of people in my guild, plus a handful of pugs, ran Fated CN last Thursday. I was surprised we completed it a little more than two hours. For the achievement you need to kill each boss. If you do not have time to complete the whole raid in one night, do what you can and kill the others at a later time. I am asking you to give it a try.
I have another guild member who was not available last Thursday and will not be there this Thursday (family trip). For her we will rerun those fated raids. I have a concern that there will be lower numbers signing up, which will make it more difficult, but if you and others responding sign up then there will be plenty of people.
This is no different than the Core Hound mount rewarded during the rerun of Molten Core at the beginning of WoD. There was a time-limit and you needed to get into a full raid. There was not a LFR version. I am asking you and others to please go for the slime cat, and do not stop until you accomplish your goal.
Itâs no biggie to me personally. I donât even like the way the mount looks and probably would never use it.
But I think itâs a bit scummy they stealth changed the achiev with no communication

I made peace with it when I voted for a different mount in the contest almost two years ago.

I never wanted it, I thought it was a lazy and ugly design, but Blizzâs handling of the situation was as slimy and ugly as their mount. and no one should be ok with it. regardless of where you think the mount should be.

I havenât and I wonât, this is another piece of 
for the studioâs historial.
They just donât acknowledge the LFR players, or the LFR problematic, and if they do they maintain a radio silence that is inexcusable.
They need to think and define what they want from the LFR and recognize the following:
- People who do LFR exclusively arenât interested in gear beyond transmog, so gear isnât a truly valid or meaningful reward. (If they cared about the gear they would make other more profitable content)
- Viewing the story cannot be considered a reward, viewing the story is an integral part of any game that has one.

Blizzard was wrong to do what they did with this mount by changing the wording in the last min before patch went liveâŚit should of remained in LFR as it was stated at any DifficultyâŚ

I never wanted it so there was no peace to be made.
I was unaware I was at war with the slime kitty but I will contact my negotiators (the Warner Brothers and their sister Dot) to seek an accord.

Until I can queue for it, LFR will always be better. Dealing with the community is just an awful, miserable experience. Queuing mitigates that a lot.

If I really want a new shiny cat mount, iâll wait for end of year sale and get the sun cat.
Also, thanks to the poster who reminded me how I got the core hound mount. It was the last time our full guild did something together before it broke.
