Because to them they’re just trying to take revenge on the ‘1 percent’ who I doubt even come to the GD. These are the same people who whined about split personality and visions gating, so I can’t wait for them to do a 180 3 months into Shadowlands.

Sad part is the 1% won’t be punished they will make their 4 toons .
The average player who likes to do multiple forms of content and those that use more then 1 spec are the ones going to suffer.

Ripcord people are just terminally unsatisfied and probably FOTM people. Their feedback was rightfully discarded. Tuning is better than choices not mattering at all.
You are not wrong. This is the first expansion I have not and will not buy(since 2.0.3-2.4.3ish TBC) for some time to come if at all for the very reason you speak of.

I think people were angry with essences/corruptions and visions, and I recall how there were some antagonizing people (aka Clark) going like “the game is easy and you’ll are just bad.” So this entire covenant debate got turned into casual vs min-maxers but that’s just a distraction to what’s actually happening.
Once again, it’s the people caught in the middle who suffer the consequences.
I would prefer they discard the feedback of people who have to buy AOTC (like you) instead of feedback from people who actually play the game a lot and understand it very well.
