Nooo! As the carer of six cats and a very, very silly dog, I have utmost sympathy for you!
(I woke up to cold cat-food vomit on my bed a week ago and kneeled on it in the dark, squishing it everywhere, and getting it all over my leg.
The audacity of cats! "Oh, I need to vomit RIGHT HERE! That will do it…" )

Oh ick!!! I put my hand in the hairball vomit before I was even really awake. Much distress. On the good side, it was all stuff that was either made to protect the couch from pets or washable. I count as washable. Cat must have been on the back of the couch napping and decided to just turn her head and hairball.
sigh I still love them lots.

Phoenix, AZ hit 101 today, but will be back up to 107 by Tuesday. It really gets to me the most when it starts to regularly run over 110.
The winters here are AMAZING, however and why we have stayed here for over 30 years.

We hit the low 90s in the Boston area this weekend. We will cool back down to the high 70s, low 80s this week with an occasional 90 or better. A “heat wave” of 3 or more days over 90 happens but it is unusual around here.
It will become more common. If you don’t have AC, consider at least a window unit for sleeping.
The usual New England temps are changing. My parents have AC in the NH house, although they never thought it would be needed. It is, sadly.

I was planning to use just standard wasp and hornet spray? The nests are small right now but I need to stop that. They are over the garage door.

That is a regular normal wasp nest and they are not aggressive. I leave them alone. Hornets are attack creatures who want to kill me. Hence, I will go after those. I just need to use my garage.
