I just went to the store and car sensor said 94F the whole way there and back. This is unseasonably warm for northern NY. It would typically only be 60F-80F here, and it looked like everyone I saw was about to die. The store employees hadn’t been in the parking lot since sunrise and the carts were overflowing into the road.

93F, we are experiencing a “cold front”.
Yesterday was 107 so I welcome 90’s.
I just googled TX temps out of curiously since Clark is TX and 102, Amarillo is 64. Not even that far from me all things considered. God damn. I wish it dropped that low.

They threatened us with terrible heat, but it is ok, actually. Did not get as hot as they said it would. Mid Atlantic. Around 88F (31C - ish) right now. Nice breeze though and it is fine in the shade here on the deck. Just watching birds in the bird bath and such.
Oh, and I have a bunny hanging around (Eastern Cottontail) and saw a Bluebird! Never had one of those in the yard before. Also…a bad fine. Hornets are making a nest in the garage eaves so have to be eradicated.

We happen to be having a mini heat wave in the Pacific Northwest (some 90 minutes outside Portland OR) this week. It’s 97° today, but up until a few days ago it had been unseasonably cool. I think last Thursday was the first time we broke 80 all year. I feel bad for the folks in the US midwest. All things considered, we’ve had really nice weather this year where I live.
