It was actually quite mild, and even a bit chilly here. In the midwest, it didn’t quite get to 70 and is currently in the 50s.

It was about 94 here yesterday. Stayed inside mainly. I can imagine it would be so much worse at 102.

Socal summer is mostly dry heat so no matter how hot it gets, it’s still more tolerable than all other states in the US or many places in the world. Our temperature is exactly what the thermometer reads. If it says 95 degrees, it is not 95 degrees but feels like 110 outside.

100+ and sub 40% humidity means very little.

I have lived in central texas, south california, and middle of virginia, and I can tell you right now 80 and very high humidity will stomp 100+ and low humidity any day of the week regarding how miserable it feels to be outside.

In southern cali humidity was so low that as long as you were in the shade, it was actually pretty cold, even on super hot days (hot in the sun)

versus only be 80 but having humidity be as high as possible and you walk outside into what feels like a physical wall of heat. It’s agony.

I have a friend over there who was saying the other day that it was 27°C where was.
I hear Europe in general is having a bit of a warm one.

hahaha seeing as you said its 18 C I would even say Northern Australia . Its 10pm here and 7 C . so far we have had 3 days with negative temps , most mornings have be between 2 and 6 C . Where i live our temp ranges between -4C and +44C --100F is a normal summers day

It was night time and temp was down, but yea it was 27c during the day. It got pretty hot during midsommar, reached 32c I think, was pretty brutal.

Yeah it’s very hot here. I live in Central Texas and I refuse to cook anything after 9 am or else my house gets way too hot.

Was 93 yesterday.

Was gonna take a walk, saw how hot it was, and said “nah” and stayed inside with the AC.
