Nothing compared to the absolute repugnant level of gaslighting the horde spend every topic on this subject doing.
Unlike alliance, horde are not just going to roll over and allow the other faction to walk all over them.
Thatâs not what alliance is arguing for though, this is what you call a strawman argument.
Wasnât phase 2 almost the exact length as world pvp pre BGs from Vanilla? Iâm too lazy to look it up but Iâm pretty sure there was only like a one week difference.
after the first nerf (removing bg numbers) the alliance âbeing hurtâ by empty games was solved. They did another hotfix making the queues random which was the nail in the coffin
Thats very brave of you when you refuse to admit horde complain and got there way, but alliance gets the shaft AGAINâŚ
Horde favortism doesnât mean its intentional, but when you look at the facts WoW has always had it, from the green Jesus storylines to the OP racials for 6 expansions, to the immediate change made to fix things so horde didnât have a slightly below 50% winrate for a few weeks but the lack of any comment after MONTHS of alliance having 1% winrate.
If you donât think Blizz favors the horde you are just ignorant or stupid.
map advantage, SH/IW choke is impossible to get past once horde have SH
Seems like the horde were being harmed there. And they squealed like a stuck pig about it on the forums, they did!
They still do, for some reason.
Honor to BGs was 2 months 4/8/05 to 6/7/05
vs
Honor to BGS in classic of 1 month of classic with 11/12/19 to 12/10/19
However that doesnt mean much because basically none of the vanilla timelines match up to classic timelines like at all.
The only ones that are kinda close are BWL to ZG, except in classic it wasnt BWL to ZG it was BWL to ZG+Emerald drakes which makes it not line up again.
No, youâd rather whine to Blizz until they make changes to get you your easy AV wins, and until they get rid of premades so you donât have to bother learning team work in WSG/AB either.
Does it hurt to be so smug when your most successful strategy in AV to change the tide was to throw a temper tantrum?
Is this a joke? Theres 3 on the front page started by Horde right now, hell heres one of them, its ONE post below this one:
In a Competitive Game, Fairness is Mandated by Circumstance. Imagine a starcraft II tournament where one playerâs units were inherently stronger than the otherâs. A great Starcraft player, who is skilled at the game, might be able to still win despite being disadvantaged in such a way. I would suggest that a similar premise lies at the root of all Vanilla PvP, because successful players are required to utilize teamwork and individual skill to overcome things like gear disâŚ
LOL
Nah alliance PUGs were being harmed pretty bad by alliance premades - if you never suicide jousted when you were ranking you didnât really get to see it, if you never PUGâd of course.
Nah alliance PUGs were being harmed pretty bad by alliance premades
So how many AVs have you won in the last three months?
Because for a lot of Alliance, that number is zero- such a big improvement, if only we could all be lucky to have auto losses in every BG with next to no honour as most never progress further than SHGY.
Iâve been over why I think alliance lose, and I donât think itâs entirely due to map balance.
Thatâs not really relevant to whether or not alliance premades impacted PUGs though.
that had NOTHING to do with the premades⌠that was a different bug which they ALSO fixed when they fixed premades, it was also the only non authentic behavior of the BG, till they made changes to advantage the horde.
Hmmm.
When they removed BG numbers we started jousting, where everyone would queue in a smaller group and one person would enter to see how many PUGs were in there.
If it was less than 6 weâd take the queue, if it wasnât weâd wait until the gates were about to open to see if another premade would drop - if the queue still didnât pop people would mass drop the queue and re-queue.
Then it devolved into everyone trying to force new lobbies over and over again by spamming mass queue countdowns, creating tons of dead lobbies that would take upwards of 10 - 15 minutes to fill before we could queue again.
Towards the end it became premade vs premade in suicide jousting, where everyone would just take the queue blindly if there were less than 10 PUGs in the BG for whoever loaded in, to try and bully the other premade into dropping queue.
If you donât think this affected PUGs I dunno what to say?
Thatâs not really relevant to whether or not alliance premades impacted PUGs though.
Clearly they did impact pugs, as premades were always only partial, so pugs would often benefit from them provided they followed directions and didnât just afk at the cave.
Pugs actually won, often, because of it.
Now they never win- on no planet is moving from sometimes winning to always losing horribly in a long drawn out game a good thing.
edit- and if youâre talking about games starting with less than 40 on each side, that had nothing to do with premades. Blizz literally said it was a bug that wasnât meant to happen when they brought out the other changes.
Bugs that let matches start without full teams is entirely on Blizzard.
Blizz how is it Horde cries for two weeks and you patch the game to make premade organizing impossible but Alliance has to deal with this absolutely miserable experience for four months?
40man premades in AV wasnât how AV was intended to be played, winning because the alliance is trash is just playing the game as intended.
The issue wasnât the PUGs who got into games with premades, it was PUGs who got left in dead lobbies with the gates open because premades dropped the queue.
