If I were to play a classic xpack, yes this is the one I’ve been waiting for aside from Legion because I didn’t get to play it.
Generally with classic though, if everything I do in them translated to my retail side of things I’d find much more value in it. I missed WoD and all the insane challenge mode weapon transmogs. I’d play it just for those. Same with all the legion stuff.
When they announced Classic, I was so excited. I love that you can go back and revisit the old world.
Very much looking forward to Wrath.

I expect nothing good from wrathC. Classic was marred by a sea of bots that should never have been allowed to run rampant but even then I enjoyed the first year of it, TBCc however introduced boosts and you immediatly saw waves of boosted bots wearing the same gear and I immediately noped out.
If blizzard has consistently demonstrated one thing, its their utter inability to learn from their mistakes.
Same way I feel about the other two classic servers. I feel they’re a waste of resources, but it is what it is.
As with Vanilla and BC, I’ve been there, done that. I have 0 interest in doing it again.

I played vanilla classic because I didn’t start until late BC… I’ve played everything else since then, so classic versions don’t interest me.
I played classic for a few months. It was fun for a moment, but then I went back and tried retail again and I had so much fun I barely logged into classic again. Everything was just so boring and slow compared to retail. I stuck around long enough to clear MC and called it quits and went back to retail

No. The classic playerbase blew classic for me.
I’d love to play it again. I really would. I absolutely will not suffer the classic community for another moment, however.
Too much gold buying, too much sweat in an easy game, too many gdkps, too many faction stacked realms, too much exploiting, too much rejection of world pvp entirely. Nah.

I absolutely cannot wait to main blood DK again like I have through SL. Recently redownloaded retail to see what I’ve missed but it’s just alright. I am STOKED for WotLK (again)!

I got divorced during wrath too. But I didn’t have very much time to play cause I was spending all my time with the reason I got divorced…ie my current wife.
Not very interested anymore as a result of 1) Excluding LFD, ‘because it doesn’t fit with Classic’ and in the same breath 2) Continue to sell boosts to near max level 3) 40% or so of the community buying gold and continuing to fuel the crazy amount of in-game GDKP, botting, and dungeon/raid boosts.
It was a fun expansion, but the way the community plays it is so different it’s just not as fun to play except to level and mess around in - but even those had a chunk of their fun taken away via boosts and not seeing enough people around and the inability to get dungeon groups while leveling when I need them.

I cut my chops as a Shaman healer in Naxx in Wrath. I’m gonna roll a Wrath toon, Shaman of course, and see if it recaptures the magic.

i would play it if it had dungeon finder. So i could level quickly and just play the endgame content i want.

I respect that. Certainly we all probably have games we return to. And I can understand returning to Wrath as it is a fun expac. For me, though, it would simply be a let-down. My two long-time WoW playing friends are out permanently. I am old enough so that I can’t possibly play the game as well as I did then (and I was mediocre at my best, lol). So I just won’t go there.
But I am so glad you are excited to play it! I am all for others having a blast.
Don’t care about it.
Never played a “Classic”. My time is limited so all my time goes into retail.

Bye retail, going to Wrath.
Imma give it a try and if it sux then I am out
I’ve been through the original classic and didn’t really care when they brought it back. Can never get that feeling of the 1st time but I did play some. I got to 40.
idc. i mean i loved Classic WoW launch it was AMAZING. i love launches like that tbh just busy af, loads of people on but as it ran it’s course i feel like classic WoW just doesn’t appeal to many people as i hoped it would long term wise.
i think it’s great though that they have that option because i too play a game where it’s older version was actually better then it’s current one but it does have it’s issues like people being so strategic in end game content that it’s just hard to get your foot in because your so unfunded to min max at that level of playstyle. with that game though min maxing starts at level 2 due to how the game works otherwise it’s just pretty much just a total loss you’d have to make a alt character just to fund it to min max it compeltely making it pointless imo.
i never played through vanilla-wotlk as i started in BC played for maybe 3 days and quit and started again back in cata when i was older and had a job to pay for my own sub. in the end idc i mean if people want to play classic without using pservers then that is great i mean it gives us option but long term wise i don’t think they do well tbh. not unless you actually do more to them like what they promised to do such as making fights a lot harder, having different classes/specs optimal instead of just the same ole typical bs. i would say adding new content to them would benefit but idk how that is i mean i haven’t played classic since launch
