How do Retail Players feel about Classic Wrath?

Cant be bothered with Classic anything anymore, I had my fun back in 2008, doubt it’ll be anywhere close to that. Also with no LFG, I have zero interest.

I played through Wrath and completed it to my satisfaction, enjoyed it, but I don’t tend to revisit games when I’ve effectively completed the content. Whenever I care to revisit the questlines they are still in the game as-was.

I’m glad that folks who didn’t get a chance to participate in it as current content have the opportunity to experience something akin to it, much the same as all the ‘classic’ releases, but I would be bored out of my skull grinding through all that again.

I was there the first time, no need to go back.

I am pretty much only playing Classic right now except for trying to earn 2 of the legendries from old raids. I log in on Turs run the old raids then log out.

At some point I would love to get the ZM gear for all my alts but the older game is just more fun

When classic came out, I leveled to forty and bought a mount. Then quit and came back to retail.
I get it, Classic is fun. But I don’t know about adding expansions and all that stuff, as an old school guy I think it should have stayed Classic and that was the whole bowl of murloc soup.

I guess instanced content might be problematic if you want a challenge.

Friend my drag me to play it.

But honestly I do not care for Classic.

lmao.

For the third time, I was there before, I was there when it was retail. Couple it with the gross optimization that exists in Classic…no thanks. I’m out.

That said, Northrend might be my favorite expansion continent.

This.

But also this. Already seeing it with the removal of the dungeon finder, not even keeping it within your realm, just a full removal. Classic community is all for no changes until it benefits their ideals of what the game should be.

I enjoyed Classic and TBCC. It took me back to a time when the game was young. Obviously things were not the same, I did not expect them to be. It was fun to see the old mods that time threw out (healing power, spirit, hit, spell hit, etc). I will not be playing WotLKC because that was the beginning of the end of the game in its original form. When items get ‘spellpower’ the game no longer feels very different from retail.

I’m excited for OG dk gameplay but that’s all.

Classic WotLK is an enticing idea, but the Classic experience is ruined imo.
Massive RMT gold sales, level boosting, somehow more bots than the first time around and the odd fixation on blasting old raids as fast as possible by so many.

Meh. Played it when it was retail and played it through Cromie Time. I’m done with it.

I loved wrath, but I very little interest in doing it all over again this many years later. I may dabble, I may not. We’ll see.

I already have Invinicible, so I’m good. :grinning:

…pretty much this.

Been there, done that, prefer the QoL of retail.

Wasn’t looking forward to it at all, but then we found a guild full of great folks so we’re playing it. Same thing with SWP, we loathe this raid, but here we are doing it because the people are awesome.

This.

While I have all of the respect for Classic and BC, Wrath for me is “peak WoW”.
