I don’t think about classic. I played those expansions a long time ago, and I don’t need to revisit them.
Vanilla classic was a different story, because it was truly different than retail. In retail, I can still visit Outlands and Northrend and explore that content.
not going to play the slog so not going to care sure will be fun for some but retail more fun for me
I mean the people who thought they’d hop onto classic and have the exact same community and experience as in the past.
There are a bunch of people that prefer classic for multiple reasons whether they just prefer the old pre-cata stuff, never played at all or want more chill raiding, whatever it is that’s going to still be there.
Just the people who expect it to work like a literal time machine will continue to be disappointed.

I play both but hate the Classic forums.
Played it when it it was current, don’t care now.
I was actually looking forward to it until LFD was removed. Now I’ll see what’s up with 9.2.5 and then peace out again till 10.0.
Seeing this point brought up a lot. Furthering my worries on that decision lmao.
Hoping it gets reverted before it goes live
Classic is outrageously boring. Everything is too slow and every chat is spammed with “player interaction” LF TANK HEAL SP GDKP 80-83 BIG MOB ASK FOR DISCOUNT BEST RUN ON SERVER x10000. You get more community interaction in retail normal spams.
The only exciting part is waiting the requisite 4-6 months before getting to read all the “that wasn’t as fun as I remember it” posts.
Was excited, but removeing LFD that was part of WoLK, not excited. I don’t want to play World of LFG Spamcraft.
I never played WoLK always wanted to play classic version, but I only get 2 -3 hours of play time on work days. I’m not wasting 2-3 hours putting a group together for one dungeon.

I wasn’t playing when wrath was current content, so nostalgia is not a factor for me.
I stopped playing classic after my friend quit. Later I decided not to to play TBCC after the cash grab cloning debacle.
So I wasn’t necessarily planning to play wrath classic. But the removal of the dungeon finder, which for so many people was their main stated reason for wanting to play, makes it less likely I will play.
Was totally looking forward to this release, until they said there would be no LFD included. No way am i going back to spamming chat! Not happening. Retail is just dead AF, and wanted really bad to play Wrath, but nope, not gonna.
I will quit this game for good. They could have included LFD from the start, ALL of my fond memories in Wrath were finding friends while using the LFD tool. Made many friends that i could count on to run some dungeons even without the LFD tool, but as i said, most of the friends i made came from using LFD.
I think the people who are (or were) planning on playing it were overwhelmingly in support of the feature. Most of the forum posters who supported its removal weren’t planning on playing it and still aren’t.
Zero interest into it.
Yeah, the theme was awesome, but gameplay sucked, it def started to get better compared to vanilla/tbc, but still a far cry from what i wanted from the game.
Im waiting for MoP enhanced if it ever happened.
MoP with all the current transmogs, HD models, animations and mythic + would be a wet dream to me.
I first hit max level in wrath after having at best a spotty internet connection and ability to pay sub until around that time so while i technically played wow in vanilla / bc, wrath was the first time i played for realsies. I have plenty of nostalgia for it that has been somewhat soured over the years due to all the constant WRATH GOOD CURRENT EXPANSION BAD arguments. I’d like to give it a shot but I think i’m kinda too jaded at this point to truly enjoy it. Kinda like how when you watch a movie someones praised to high heaven and it doesn’t live up to the hype.
I have a lot of nostalgia for Wrath. I could even see myself playing Classic Wrath. Except… none of my friends are interested, soooo… I’m just going to stick to retail.
Played it when it was out the first time. While I loved I have no desire to level there again. I leveled like 10 characters there never doing it again.
Nope, this is actually the one that I think the Classic endeavors come to an end. WotLK was peak WoW subs, and it went downhill after that.
I might try it out again; we’ll see. The problem with Classic has been it eventually gets boring and monotonous and I burn out from logging in to raid. Will want to play OG DK again though
