Never played Vanilla, but decided to level a warlock in preparation for TBC Classic. I got all the way to level 58 and just couldn’t take it anymore.
To each their own, but not my idea of fun.

I play both. I like both versions for various reasons.
If mop comes back I will have to play again just to enjoy old mistweaver for a while.
I was looking forward to it at first and did honestly try.
Got one to 40 and I just couldn’t see myself continuing at that point with Classic having done it back when it was original content.
Loved Wrath but seeing some of what they are doing already isn’t really doing it for me so most likely will just be happy with the memories I have from when played it.
The only ones buying gold on GDKP era are the noobs. Those who knows how to play the game gain gold from GDKP… no need to buy gold with real money.
It’s the same on retail. The noobs buy WoW tokens to buy their KSM and/or AoTC/CE. Those who knows how to play the game dont spend real money. It’s just GDKP has a wonderful name. It’s a carry run for noobs. For those who seek rare items, they just run GDKP week after week until it drops and bid maximum. The highest bid I did in GDKP on Wrath was 25k gold. And I could go for 30k gold if someone would compete. And that gold was nothing to me as I have around 100k+ gold… and again I started GDKP with Zero gold.
Not interested in any form of classic. Hoping Retail gets better. I just don’t like standing still, frozen in time.
Happy for those who are looking forward to it. Me, personally, though? Not touching it.
I’m planning on playing. I just need to get my Hunter to 70. Currently at lvl 64.
I don’t have to the time to try my hand at classic. All of my free time is taken up by the endless amount of chores I have to do in retail.
I loved classic ever since launch and still play it here and there i got 3 toons to 70 and ready for wrath classic im pretty excited
'Tis a game.
I shall play it.
Zero interest in any Classic iteration for me.
But I can understand the nostalgic appeal to others.
i am waiting for dragonflight classic.
Have no interest in Classic, though if there is one that may make me make a character when it eventually comes out would be Mists or Legion classic, anything else no interest.
I loved that expansion, but I think I did everything there was to do the first time. I played through the Vanilla Classic, but since I started originally playing at BC, I have no interest in doing any other classic version of expansions. Is anyone seriously looking forward to playing Cataclysm, WOD, or (lol) Shadowlands again?
Oooh, I’d love to play a Spriest in Classic Wrath but then again, I really only want to play them for the shadow ravens. Wintergrasp would be cool too. I don’t really wanna put in the effort though.
I’m not waiting for any classic expansion. I’ve already played them all and have no interest in doing it again.
Further, the lack of LFD functionality ensures I won’t play WotLK. It was the best part of the expansion.
Same story as all the rest: Played it to death when it was current so not interested in the lesser experience.
Don’t know why you folks still think you can go back, even after seeing how the others have went.
Watcha mean? We clearly can go back, Classic is a pretty large success. Just because you aren’t playing it doesn’t mean it failed lol
Amen. Could not agree more. I don’t see the attraction in repeating old content from scratch.
