How do people really think RDF will come

So that’s not established. No we don’t.

We say it was out for 2 years from begining to end because it’s a measure of time. You trying to limit the comparison of what people actually played in the game does nothing but harm how ur opinion is veiwed here, it’s silly.

More to this point when blizzard made the post about the nerfs to dungeon boosting there was a bunch of people in there saying things like “oh well at least we have rdf in wotlk”

Those people are going to get a rude shock if they haven’t already… I think the biggest backlash is yet to come

Im cool with them shutting bulletin board down as long as they dont add any RDF

Who’s we? Most describe expansions by how many tiers they had. Wrath had 4 (naxx, ulduar, toc, icc).

RDF was there for ONE tier.

Dude why you even trying to die on this hill, everytime people talk about raids and content in WoW they talk about how long it was out for and how long expansions were

People even made graphs showing the length of time expansions were out and that x expansion was the longest running etc…

Since when do we measure expansions by their patch cycle

Anecdotes are anecdotes. And you’re absolutely free to believe what your anecdote offers you. But not free to offer it as fact.

Yeah basically half the expansion

And the subs kept growing over a year even though it was a single tier.

Couldn’t have been the added accessibility to the game and making alts more fun to level and gear

Its not silly. It was out for 49% of the games life span, that is a fact. That means that people were able to play Wrath with RDF as a feature for 26 days less than they were able to play it without it, regardless of what patch cycle it came in at.

One tier plus content drought, yes.

Correalation == Causation. I could easily say the sub count was because of the how fun professions were. Which of us are right? Impossible to say.

I’m sure professions had something todo with it also, the beauty of rdf being able to go out and farm mats while being in queue

And 80% of the content consumed by people was consumed without rdf. So would you mind rdf for half the expacs lifespan? I’m sure blizzard would love to tck a 16 month ICC/rs phase on the end of the game just for u to have ur wotlk content drought experience

are you saying wotlk should never get any content becuase content drought was a feature that spanned half the expansions life?

This is an ad absurdum I’m aware of the differences between a system and a lack of content. I guess it’s better to ask, since Ilvl floor resets are a qol change that can def be veiwed as a system, should those be present from the jump? When ulduar launches should heroic drop better gear than NAXX 25? Should we inflate the ulduar Ilvl by about x 1.7?

Wouldn’t care if I had rdf to quest / dungeon alts up with and to gear them up with to run more icc on

Im fine with it coming in classic at the same point it came in original Wrath. You cant even bring up content droughts for classic as a talking point considering we have an entire iteration of the game that is a forever content drought (era)

If you make the argument youre making then you must really be a fan of garrisons right?

Ok… you don’t do well with analogies. Let me clarify it for you — we can attribute the sub count to literally anything in wrath. We could say that Dalaran as a city hub is the reason for Wrath’s sub count and it would have just as much proof as your claim that RDF influenced sub counts — which is zero proof.

I know exactly what you’re saying.

But anyone who played through wrath knows how much rdf revitalised the experience leveling alts and doing dungeons at end game.

Even if you don’t like rdf, even if you don’t want it in wrath.

There is no denying the effect it had on accessibility, alts being leveled and calendars being filled with 5 nights of icc runs because alts.

Nope they should remove garrisons like they did rdf when the time comes.

I’m not #nochanges. I think wod would be a great xpac with no garrisons, so blizz if you’re reading this pls start developing wod without it preferably including mop challenge modes, and classic style talent trees #thosechanges

But why? It was in before even 90% of the content was consumed.

Good, so you’ll also know why Blizzard has largely been unconvinced by arguments like yours, yes?

There is no proof either way to this.

I’m not arrogant enough to assume to know what blizzard leads are thinking on a minute to minute basis.

For all we know Brian is feeling the pinch on this and is trying to figure out how to backflip without looking like he’s back flipped

The fact it still exists in retail and has been widely successful begs to differ with you though

#somechanges. Just because it was originally in the game doesn’t make it a good feature, you’re arguing against ur own point now.

I didn’t even have to like attempt to get you to argue ur own point lol, you brought it up and are just straight bodying urself, wyd man?
