How do people really think RDF will come

fixed for legibility

I used to be more generous with my snark but they will use it against you 100% of the time. Even the simplest and most polite of objections get labeled as “trolling” by the majority of the LFD crowd.

Because that’s how claims work. When a scientist makes a claim that the earth is round, it’s on him to prove that to people. It isn’t on the people to prove him wrong.

Until you have proof of your claim, it’s all just wild fanciful conspiracy that feeds into whatever false narratives you have.

Then use another way to find groups? You’re not forced to use LFG.

We’re not scientists and this isn’t a court room

I’m throwing down a challenge prove once and for all you don’t alt forums.

As I said I’m more than happy to go first.

LoL. The world is flat homies. Prove me wrong.

Yeah I’ve come to learn that you can’t correct a willfully ignorant opinion so I just embrace the thing and do the thing and mostly save actual conversation for people who are interested in good faith.

You are welcome to your beliefs

Thats an interesting thought…I have done the EQ TLP circuit a few times. And you 100% right, in my time doing EQ TLPs nothing killed a server quicker and more thoroughly than a new server (usually with a tweaked ruleset)…even when the old server was pretty popular.

There’s empirical scientific evidence, beyond refute.

I have seen a surprising number of these people too, and the reaction is not positive. At all. I expect there to be added backlash once people understand that heroic dungeon daily lockouts will apply unlike original wrath, where you could farm badges and gear and spam dungeons all night for fun. There will be none of that.

Feel free to refute then.

Analogies don’t work on you, I’m guessing? The burden of proof applies to any claim you make.

I don’t have to prove that I don’t alt post — you have to prove that I do.

And I do alt post, on other characters named Bloomsday. The last thing I’m going to do is jeopardize my privacy for some open forum challenge gauntlet.

What’s important is that Blizzard themselves have said enough people are celebrating this change that it has assured them it’s the right move. Blizzard would be able to tell if it were just 3 people and their alts.

The way I look at flat earths believes is the same I look at religious people.

I wouldn’t try and convince someone their god doesn’t exist because it’s what they believe in. No good comes from it, it’s not an argument you can win even with science.

Because for science to have any meaning they would have to believe in the science you’re trying to convince them of.

26 days from being out for most of the expansions life span. Keep hanging onto that 1%

You do understand you’re not making the point you think you’re making. If you think a strawpoll is irrefutable evidence you’re out of your mind.

The only point you’re making is you clearly are capable of ignoring anything you want by favoring anecdotal evidence… Which is the evidence for rdf. “All I see” “so many people here say” “when I look to the horizon it’s flat”

Yes the privacy of your WoW characters.

It’s all good bro, I am willing to goto the lengths it takes to prove I don’t alt post and that there is no double up of my opinion on the subject coming from me.

You hide behind reasons that don’t exist in this context and privacy.

If you look at the full scope of all content in the expansion, compare pre ICC: leveling heroics 3 raid tiers I’d say is 80% of wrath’s content; 3 dungeons, associated heroics, a raid and a single boss raid make up about 20%.

Don’t hold on to a desperation measure during a horrific and infamous content drought like it was anywhere approaching “wotlk primetime”

Sorry when I say wows sub numbers increased from between 500 - 600k after rdf was released in 3.3.0 during what ended up being a year long content drought.

That is infact a fact and not an opinion or anecdotal evidence

Just like it’s a fact that sub numbers started going down after the first patch in cata which was under very heavy fire about design decisions that had been taken into the expansion and not anything todo with rdf.

I’ve listed these issues in previous threads so I won’t again but cata was not well recieved and the players spoke after the first patch.

Thats been my experience as well. I typically get a reaction along the lines of “But it was in original wrath, how can they not put it in?” I have had a few offer a neutral opinion like “oh wow, well thats interesting” but I have yet to break the news to anyone and hear anything along the lines of “Thats great news”…not once. Admittedly small sample size but enough to make me think Blizz has another wave of very dissatisfied customers coming to ask questions.

We measure expansions by their life span. We dont say Wrath was out for 21 patches, we say it was out for 2 years.
