How do people really think RDF will come

It’s more than all 3 of you and your alts.

It’s not a hassle, they have the new LFG tool.

Yeah I think you’d be surprised what people aren’t willing to compromise on.

Why would I be happy for a lesser game, I can literally go and play on any number of well developed wotlks right now if I want too.

Thing is I’d rather be here and support the game I’ve cared about for almost 2 decades.

And if that means kicking around in the forums making myself heard so be it.

Would you like a screenshot of all my characters they all have Hara in them… I’ve literally gone by Harath for like 25 years in online gaming.

Plus I don’t need to try and make it look like more I’m not stupid enough to think blizzard can’t just see it’s my alt.

Whereas several of you anti rdf have been exposed on multiple occasions with even other anti rdf users calling you out for doing it.

So I meaaaaan….

Show the proof. We’re waiting.

It’s pretty barebones right now. It’s just a UI for making a group. If it releases right now as is, I just don’t see people using it over chat. It’s not much of an improvement… which, depending on which side of the RDF fence you’re on, is cause for joy.

I’d like to clarify that I am not “Anti-LFD” I am firmly “Anti-Raging over LFD” if they put it into the game thats fine, but constantly complaining and being rude to fellow forum posters over their stance on the issue is not fine with me.

I will always attempt to approach the discussion with diplomacy and rationality.

LFG Bulletin board works better than the LFG tool for sure.

It’s a good thing it’s not releasing right now… as Classic Wrath is 2 months+ away.

At face value I think this is probably correct. Corporations though tend to want a product line to succeed once released…we’ve seen that in classic already. Regardless how the players feel about any specific alterations to the product, I have to believe any effort they have directed at classic was in an attempt to keep it profitable. I’m not sure they consider classic disposable at this point and if putting back dungeon finder ever seems like an easy fix to keep numbers stable, I’m sure they would rather do that than pulling the plug.

That being said, yeah, if classic becomes non-profitable and unsalvageable I completely agree they could axe the project and life would go on relatively normal for them.

Prove you don’t. Post your characters I’ve offered to.

It’s 1am here but happy to get up goto my pc take a screenshot of all my toons and lay it all on the table. I literally have nothing to hide

Still a hassle, the LFG tool on the beta right now is just basically like the LFG tool we have on TBC classic but with a better UI.

You still have to spam LF1M Slave pens heroic need tank for maybe about 15-30 minutes till you actually got one whisper from someone that is actually willing to tank.

You’re the one that made the claim, the burden of proof is on you, and you’re asking me to prove a negative. You said anti-RDF has been exposed for alt posting, so prove it.

Keyword being beta.

Thought you’d hide behind some lame excuse Thankyou for not failing to deliver

Blizzard said something about muh community, muh socializations, cross realm this, cross realm that… and then made wintergrasp cross realm instance queueable.

Kinda contradict themselves between what they say and what they do.

They’ll undo this no RDF nonsense after enough people level their first 80 and then unsub because finding group content is too much of a hassle with this new LFG tool.

Yeah, that lame excuse being the rules and philosophy of debate and discussion. So, you concede that you made a claim that you can’t prove?

Why does there need to be rules, I threw down a gauntlet.

I’ll post mine first even

It’s fine I get it you’ve got things to hide…

I think they are holding out on RDF to release it with the next run of classic servers because they know there is an audience for it and it will cause them to resub.

The business models for “classic” servers in other mmorpgs revolves around constantly re-releasing new “fresh” servers to simulate the game’s initial lifespan. These servers often have a theme or a new ruleset to shake up the norm and entice players to come back and try. Everquest does this with its “Time Locked Progression” servers and has been surviving off them for years now. One of their more recent servers changed how loot tables worked and it was a huge success.

WoW has already tried this with SoM so thats why I think they will bring RDF in with a future set of servers. Classic wotlk is going to play out without it and we may or may not get a continuation with Cata but we will definitely see a reboot with new classic servers around the time ICC is about to drop.

Ok so what if there is no changes made to improve it and still shipped as it is?

The LFG bulletin board addon has been ordered to not have any further development from Blizzard. So who knows how much longer they’ll let it linger.

You can’t do that dude you have to be screaming irrationally and acting like you’re owed something over a feature in a game. This is the forums man
