How do I install WoW on a laptop and a desktop

Hi,

Not trying to get anything over here. I have a laptop where I initially installed the new WoW. I also have a desktop I’d like to play on. (I can take the laptop with me but can’t take the desktop)

How do I install it on the desktop also? I don’t need two separate games going,

Thanks, Eric

Download battlenet. Youll only be able to be logged on one computer at a time but it works i have wow on 3 different computers.

You just…install it as you would normally do it.

Download Battle net. Log in. Install.
You will only be able to to play it on 1 PC at a time though. That’s it. Unless you get 2nd sub,.

Good luck.

P.S. Keep in mind, whatever addons you install on 1 PC, they won’t exist on your laptop. So your interface will need to be set up twice.

Get a USB that can hold some space (100+GB).

Copy your installation folder from your laptop to the USB, then from the USB to the desktop.

You can find your installed folder by going to the Bnet client, next to the Play button there is a cog wheel, click that > show in explorer, when a window pops up, hit backspace and copy that folder that’s highlighted.

On your desktop, install bnet launcher, when its signed in, go to the game of choice, under the install button click on “Locate the game” and navigate to the folder you copied over from the USB.

Should copy over all your addons and settings, some might need to be loaded from profile in game, but that should get you ahead.

Good luck, and have fun. O7
