I paid for a year sub and somehow the monthly sub got turned off even know i never go into my sub manager ! So i didn’t get the Owl mount i paid for! Sent a ticket in and loooooong story short they said sucks to be me and repay for it! i have pics of the ticket that says it! I even got one of the GM to say they could see i had a sub and not to worry i would be getting it! {have pics of that as well} All i want is what I paid for!

Well in similar other cases they were just told to resub for either 6 or 12 months. Whether if those really didn’t unsub or not is besides the point as CS agents cannot re-sub for you.
I get they cant resub for me i am still subbed! i just don’t see why if i paid for a year my account is good till Jan 14 2025! Why do i have to pay again!! They have given people stuff in the past and in this case they can see when i paid for the year!!!
Thing is, if they see it doesn’t have a renewal data, the system can’t give you something that doesn’t meet the requirements. They can’t see why it was change, just that it is. They can’t give someone something on a say so. It’s promo and they can’t go against it for one person.

You are currently on a one month sub. Yes, you have time till Jan 2025, that’s when the ONE MONTH will bill.
Your yearly does appear to have been cancelled. That doesn’t mean the time goes away, just that THAT won’t renew then.
Unfortunately, this reward is required to have that active. Did you remove the payment method from that - that would indeed effectively cancel the sub.

It made me update the card info but it didnt tell me it unsubbed me! And if that is why its real sad! guess no more shop spending for me!!! only reason i paid for a year is for the mounts! Is a sad day when a multi Bil company has lil loops like this!!
It seems that happens when updating the payment method - only for the 12 month sub. It won’t auto bill you if you have touched the payment method. Logically, that makes no sense to me but I don’t make the rules.
There is a thread on the Shop feedback forum though from someone else who had this happen the other day! They are asking that the folks who hand the shop software change that. It does not fix things now, but may prevent it from happening to others in the future.
Just to cover this part, you are actually warned that removing a payment method that a subscription is connected to will cancel that subscription.
There used to be an option in the past to simply update a subscription payment method, but it was removed some years back. Has it finally come back?
This is because it’s not done the way the system needs it done.
It’s when you REMOVE the payment - things get cancelled.
You need to UPDATE the payment method in this circumstance.
Just FYI, if you’re only after the owl mount, you don’t need to do an entire year. You can do 6 months for the same monthly price.
Or just buy it from the shop thats what ive been doing.
That works too. I knew I was going to be playing TWW for at least 6 months so that option was the most worth it to me, but YMMV.
