12 month recurring sub canceled when updating credit cards

This is related to World Of Warcraft.

When updating credit card info on a 12 month recurring sub, please do not cancel the recurring part of the sub as default. It should automatically stay recurring, or there should be an option right away to transfer the recurring part of the sub from the previous card to the new one.

I just learned this the hard way. Even though I just paid for a recurring 12 month sub in March 2024, it got canceled 2 days after purchase because I needed to update my credit card info. So that means no mount unless I resub again for another $167 that I cannot afford after just paying for a sub, or I pay an additional $25 in the in-game shop and purchase it there.

Hey Aeowynn,

If you remove the payment method, that will cancel the subscription. If you update the payment method, that will retain it.

There’s two options on the screen. The blue “Update payment method” text, and the blue “Remove payment method” button.
