I will continue to dismiss any and all suggestions to actually fixing HORDE problems, until you ignorant fools just agree that I know what best for you is how you’re coming off.
Here’s a suggestion, get over yourself
Translation: "Blizzard hates Night Elves and everyone needs to stop what they are doing and figure out a way to fix my feelings about the race that I am inordinately attached to. ANYTHING that suits not involve prepping up the Night Elves as the Ubermensch they are is wrong and you should feel bad about it. "
See? I can do it to.
The proposal was geared to actually fix Horde problems. You just failed to read it.
I can’t fix willful ignorance on your part, sorry.
The proposal failed at that. You just can’t accept that your suggestion sucked.
As stated by people who didn’t read it. Hardly an informed source.
Go back to preening yourself.
- Denial
- Anger
- Bargaining
- Depression
- Acceptance
You’re currently stuck between 1 and 2.
Excuse me, where can I read the Kyalin screnario?
We read it and we told you, numerous times now, why it in fact does not fix horde problems. At best it artificially props them up so you can get your revenge power fantasy in.
Not my fault your idea sucks
If you read it, then you wouldn’t have repeated objections about things that weren’t in it.
Here’s your chance though - since Shernish asked for it:

The linked posts at the top of this thread contain the originally pitched proposal. The linked thread itself concerns a further update to it.
I did. You, once again, fail to illustrate how your proposal makes Horde players want to play Horde (especially PvP against, of all races, Night Elves) or how faction conflict is going to create faction pride in the Horde.
I read your proposal and as stated MULTIPLE times now, it still sucks and still doesn’t solve horde problems. The fact that you still can’t grasp that is staggering.
Can you describe the problem scenario?
The linked posts do that.
I think the desire to fix the horde is just as justified as the night elf com’s desire to really smash the horde. Problem is, both communities are at a low point right now and it’s probably just going to keep escalating, and escalating, and escalating.
Let’s keep it short:
A solution cannot be found, because that would require 1 + 1 = - 1, which cannot be. Night Elves no longer want to back down for the Horde (narrative-wise), and Horde no longer wants to get into a fight where they could never be portrayed sympathetically, no matter how justified it might be. It would either be a worsening of the state of affairs or a “they deserve to be properly smashed by the night elves”.
I’m starting to miss the days when threads were locked at 500 posts.
Interesting fact, if this thread here closed, we have now another one about the same topic, so nothing change
they could never be portrayed sympathetically, no matter how justified it might be.
This I think is the key premise that I disagree with you on, and from it, the remainder of the point unravels.
I would just say let the night elves get your win and move on from there, for both communities, but that should have happened in BFA, now the situation is tricky and it will only hurt the rivalry more. But that can be your opinion, I’m not saying I’m the last word, but I can say with certainty that it is very impossible to move on, now.
The trouble that I have with that is that if I just lead with an Ashenvale scenario without giving the Horde an opportunity at counterplay, it’s going to be seen as unfair, and it has been. When I simply suggest the Ashenvale portion of the scenario, Horde players have replied that I’m just proposing to beat on them.
Hence the barrens part of this - hence freezing the conflict in conflict points, hence the larger scenario, and hence why I say that these problems are linked. You can’t discuss one without the issue of the other emerging.
