How can I tell If i got a stress test invite or a beta invite where I can play beyond level 5?

I got an invite but how do I know the difference if its a reg invite or a stress test invite where im capped at 5??

It says “Beta and stress test”

Can you play right now? If so you got beta. If not you got stress test.

You should have received an email as well. It most likely is just the stress test.

Beta players will be able to make characters on the Beta servers and log in to play currently

I just checked my launcher and I now have the option for “Beta and Stress Test: WoW Classic” I haven’t received an email.

My guess is this is just for the stress test, but would be pretty cool if it was the beta as well since it also says beta in my launcher. I will update this post if I’m able to log in and play before the stress test.

Regardless, I’m pretty excited if I even just get to do the stress test. Can’t wait to see the old Vanilla if even for a short time and see how it goes Will be interesting to test out the starter zones to see how layering is going to work.

Update: Even though it does say “beta and stress test” on my launcher, I’m not able to play right now. When I log in the only option I have is an offline server for the stress test.

Regardless, hearing the old WoW music is so awesome! I think I will just listen to it for a bit lol.

Hey! So they say this in the blue post but if it says Beta & Stress Test it is for the Stress Test!

There’s a bit of a hiccup in the invite process. In short, there were invite emails that went out, but the accounts aren’t getting access.

One troubleshooting step is to make sure that you’ve logged out and closed the BDA (and make sure Agent.exe has closed, if not, force it). Log back in, give it a minute (the BDA may try to update), then check the dropdown.

Beyond that, it’s just a matter of waiting:

Once you download the beta client try logging in.
You’ll know if you’re just a stress tester for full beta.
