It’s the same problem as whales gold buying to get those good items, its inaccessible to an average player without joining a guild or a ‘faux guild’ that runs weekly. In GDKP’s people feel less intensely about it because they can passively benefit from the RMT, sure, but the issue is still Blizzard’s lack of action on RMT.
Sure, gdkps are bad we get that’s your point. My point is most HRs are being sold. And Every pug run has multiple hrs.
I don’t think GDKP’s are bad, I think RMT is, which is what the HR system abused like this is. The solution in all of this has always been to find a consistent group of people to play with, whether its a weekly pug or a guild. You’ll never escape the bad actors of anonymity if that’s all you’re able to participate in, sadly.
Ok we agree on that, pugging on Anniversary is toxic AF. Imo the worst pug scene ever.
We don’t even need to get into all the people that leave the raid when their item doesn’t drop.
this is basically just guessing, its not screening at all, some random i never heard of before applies to about 95% of nightslayer maybe more, most of the guilds are not trustworthy either, i wouldn’t trust the guilds more than i would trust the random i never heard of before, they’d get about the same tbh. What if the random has a tank lined up who will only join if the item is hard ressed to him? well the forums told me he’s probably selling it so i can’t join that run..obviously
Most NS guilds don’t care if they screw the pugs.
I’ve run with guilds that at the end of the raid they change the loot rules, add magical HRs that weren’t advertised. Give guildies extra rolls because they “donated consumes to the tanks “ etc
Indeed, the last NS guild I ran with had multiple people quit on the pugs behalf because they saw that the leader was actively screwing them, the pugs sucked but that’s the risk you take inviting pugs, items went where they shouldn’t have (in an sr run) pretty much every week
Yeah I’m kinda soured with Anniversary because I’ve been spoiled my entire Era playing with awesome guilds/pug runs that didn’t have any sketchy loot drama and always cleared raid fast and smooth.
I’ve had very minimal good experiences on Anniversary.
Elron, you’re not soured of anything. You just miss raking in the bucks as a GDKP organizer.

That’s really crappy and yeah a bad experience, but you should 100% report those guilds cause changing agreed loot rules is an offence. Well, report if you care enough to report.

I’m gas lighting lol. Your a low level bot that runs bots and doesnt even play the game. You call everyone Elron because you have no legitimate arguments. So again go back to monitoring your bots so you can feed your family.
Why would I rotate characters when I have this one that actually plays the game unlike you.
I will say I did worry about this with Megaservers, with so many people how easy it is to slip into the crowd after pulling a stunt like changing loot rules, ninja an item, steal a gold pot etc. On smaller realms if you pull a stunt you best never want to play that character again.
That’s the biggest thing about this mega server model. You can do scummy things to 39 players and prob never see them again.
On original sized servers you would be blacklisted and never be able to raid again.
Then throw in the massive botting/RMT issues that mega servers have ( yes its still very bad with GDKPs banned sorry to burst your bubble).
Not everyone, just the characters you use to necro the same 6-7 threads every day, as I’ve seen you do. On Elron. On Stars. On Tehpally. On Amorthal. And on Staubin. And then the Elron variants as well.
Now, you can join your other chars on Ignore. Just wanted to point out you’re not some real player. This is your business. And that’s what it’s about: $$$$$.
