For me, wow retail doesn’t feel like an RPG anymore.

I feel the same way i havent even gotten to finish it yet and i dont have that pull to bring me back to wanna finish it. The only thing i care about in this story so far are the Nerubian which ive always like and figuring out what my old knife is up to.

Ill be back in a week or 2 to playing the game after ive had time to get a new computer and the dev team have time to fix the audio bugs in the cutscenes im forced to watch on youtube since my laptop cant play them
The m+ season is doing dungeons we have alrdy done for TWO YEARS. Mixed in with 4 new ones.
Like we literally just did these SL dungeons like 2 years ago.

TWW is like Dragonflight 2.0 to me. If you got bored with Dragonflight, you would be bored too on TWW. Looks like you are bored with WoW. I find Dragonflight at WoW’s 2nd peak. If you have no interest then looks like you are bored anything with WoW.
That’s a good thing. You are no longer addicted to it. Just break the chain WoW gave you and move on to next chapter of your life.
On me, WoW’s chain is heavily locked on me. I kept on leaving it, it keeps me back. But at least, i am now Casual, no longer a hardcore no life for it. I maintaining balance. Good thing, WoW gives us a week to complete the chore unlike before, you do the chore non-stop even extend it beyond normal hours or you would be left behind.
Imo you really have to give yourself milestones to enjoy wow. There is a lot to do. ie hit max level, complete highest level delve, get 5 characters to max, fully gear up 1 character for M+, etc.
I was gonna agree with OP but then I discovered this huge underground area that is awesome, its like Zaralek Cavern but better.

It’s made up nonsense. Bellular took hard sub numbers from Warlords, which they stopped reporting on like halfway through the expansion, and used a new trend line from Blizzard to create some goofy number out of nothing. Dude literally used 2 different graphs with completely different types of data sets to create a random number lol.

None of the content most of the people who play this game have the most fun with is out yet.
If you don’t mainly do raid or m+ I’d say throw in the towel.

Thanks. I thought this was the case. Blizzard would be all over social media, traditional media and probably going door to door to exclaim the good news of 7 million subs. Those days are long gone.

I wanted to like TWW, but honestly, I was pretty bored all the way to 80. The game feels just like Dragonflight but with terrible fetch and go quests. The only props I’ll give are to the art team because some zones look cool. I can’t stand how badly the writers suck the masculinity out of male characters, and Anduin is just this crying mess 24/7. I also thought the hero talents were underwhelming nothing special. Don’t get me started on Delves… I think I’ll be leveling a character on Cataclysm Classic and watching retail for changes in the future and maybe I’ll change my mind…but til then this my honest review and opinion…

A huge chunk of those were Classic and SoD players, like a huge chunk. Retail probably averages a few million subs, which is pretty decent for any MMO. A few devs let it slip that Classic has more players in recent interviews, or it did during SoD height.
Hot take: People using “hot take” to precede an argument formed entirely out of someone’s opinion doesn’t make said opinion a “hot take.” It’s an opinion.

SL had the best dungeons in the history of wow.
They made this expansion 100x better by including SL dungeons this season.
Please don’t use that word it is derogatory. I know WoW’s health can be an emotional subject for some but there is no reason to lower ourselves to name calling. I did not call anyone a liar.
And yes, if someone in real life came to me and said a Youtuber claimed WoW is at 7 million subs based on extrapolating a number they made up from Legion using an unmarked graph I would openly question his methods and motivations.
Any reasonable person having looked at those methods would have some healthy doubts.

It’s miles better than Dragonflight. The mythic levels of the dungeons are going to be challenging while still intuitive. I’m so glad that these dungeons are straightforward and not obnoxious mazes like quite a few in DF. The zones are better, with a much better story so far.
Remix proved that people love doing things to become more powerful.
They took this data and now make you feel worse the higher you level and the better gear you get. They did the complete opposite of what we want.
